Job Role : Quality Engineer
Facilitation of processimprovements, qualitative risk assessments and root cause analysisand corrective actions, aligned to continuous improvement, in yourarea of responsibility.
Use of quality tools to monitor and improveprocesses.
Fully supportthe QMS by creating, editing and reviewing documents, assuringalignment to industry and Baker Hughes standards.
Act as a lead auditor.
Conduct supplier audits anddemonstrate use of supplier improvement actions as required by yourarea of responsibility.
Work with Quality Control departments to monitorcalibration, control and testing systems.
Participate in tender and contract reviews andthe development of quality plans to support contracts.
Share knowledge within the qualitycommunity and to the wider Baker Hughes organization.
You will demonstrate projectmanagement best practices and use of quality management tools andhandle special projects as required.
Qualifications / Requirements :
Bachelor's Degree inEngineering or Applied Science with 5 years experience.
Good analytical skills. Good written and verbalcommunication skills.
Facilitation and presentation skills. Ability to work andcommunicate well with others.
In depth knowledge of ISO9001, API Q1 and other relevantindustry standards.
Understanding of business processes, industry standardsand BHI technologies.
Skills in quality control and calibration, businessprocess modelling, SAP and the ability to communicate in locallanguage are preferred.
Advanced skills in VB and Macro
