Job Role : Officer, Social Media (Emiratis Only)

Job Description

  • Supports in setting the strategy for the company's use of social media as a communication tool to achieve business objectives
  • Oversee and coordinate with the PR Communications agency for the development and implementation of the social media calendar
  • Refer to the Corporate Communications Strategy and Corporate Strategy when developing the content calendar with the agency
  • Assess relevance of subjects per strategy for each social channel
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Create content for use internally and externally in both Arabic and English. Internally for communications channels such as Yammer, emailers, intranet, externally for social media channels including Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, etc.
  • Competent in proof reading and editing content developed by the agency for pre-approvals
  • Work closely with the agency in order to increase the number of followers and level of engagement and build communities to amplify Daman’s brand
  • Produce weekly and monthly reports for our social media channels with structured recommendations to management
  • Provide ongoing analysis, key insights and recommendations to optimize performance of existing social media platforms
  • Monitor trends in social media for platforms, formats, tools and applications and assess the relevance to onboard or apply them for Daman
  • Live coverage of, and produce content for social media from Daman’s on-the-ground activities and events
  • Community management
  • Solely responsible in handling social media community management and managing first line of communication and complaint management
  • Contribute in setting the community management strategy that fits the Daman brand
  • Monitor conversations and consumer generated comments, and take appropriate action
  • Work alongside of Daman’s Social Care team and contribute in bringing our social care strategy to the next level.
  • First line of alerting and responding in case of any Crisis. Enabling correct crisis management processes to be followed

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • Experience with social media tools and techniques
  • Experience with Digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics etc
