Job Summary

The purpose of this position is to provide support in driving internal communications program, designed to build and strengthen the organization internally.

The role holder is required to coordinate between internal brand and comms teams and external creative agencies / partners that will deliver the communications solutions as well as partner actively with teams across the company including but not limited to HR, OD, TSRM, IT, Marketing and Brand & Comms in order to deliver and translate the strategy into implementation.

The role holder is accountable to ensure all communication solutions, including the intranet, are consistent in their message across all internal channels and in alignment with du brand guidelines.

Minimum Experience

  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in a communications role, ideally within the telecommunications industry.
  • Sound understanding of communication processes, the UAE market and best practices.
  • Proven and demonstrably successful track record of delivering projects on time and on or under budget.
  • Record of working with culturally diverse employee base and working closely with CEO and C layer.
  • Minimum education

  • Minimum Bachelors in degree or higher in Mass Communications / Journalism / PR or related / relevant discipline.
  • Fluency in written English.
  • Knowledge And Skills

  • Strong ability to communicate at all levels of an organisation as well as with external and internal partners and stakeholders.
  • Good analytical ability and problem assessment skills.
  • Strong leadership, influencing and negotiating ability to drive deliverables.
  • Thorough understanding of the UAE culture and market.
  • Ability to think strategically and evaluate impacts of communications strategy and customise solution delivery appropriately.
  • Team player with a strong understanding of customer needs and organisational goals and impact of diversity.
  • Strong understanding of target segment media habits.
  • Demonstrate and practice a proactive attitude, be self-confident and reliable.
  • Excellent and proven ability to deliver under tight deadlines and think on their feet.
  • Excellent project management and delivery skills.
