Job Purpose : (to be defined per function, no activities but targets)

The Product Manager supports the regional product launches, phase-outs & discontinuations, as well as marketing programs and services.

S / he plays a key role in identifying and assessing opportunities.

S / he works closely with the country commercial organizations, the Regional management team, and Global Marketing team and must understand the market, customer, and business needs in the region.

The role provides, extracts, and analyzes market insights and data, and ensures continuous communication and collaboration with markets and the Divisions.

The role supports the countries in their efforts to develop local / regional markets.

Main Tasks : (6-8 activities which are important for the function)

  • Develop & maintain a thorough knowledge of the environment at a regional level and in target markets. Includes macro factors as well as market drivers, competitive landscape, trends, and other relevant key factors
  • Map unmet needs in portfolio, market / customer segments, sales channels, business models. Define solutions
  • Manage the product lifecycle from product launches to obsolescence across the region
  • Plan & execute regional product launches : create marketing materials to drive & support sales efforts in the region, collect revenue & demand Forecast from the countries to identify priorities
  • Collaborate with markets on marketing plans and support execution
  • With country teams, engage key surgeons and accounts
  • Provide market insights, trends, competitive information to Global Marketing teams
  • Supplementary Tasks : (special activities)

    Job Requirements : (from recruitment process)

  • 5+ years’ experience in sales / marketing / market development / Medical Education
  • Ideally, Emerging Markets business experience
  • Medical device experience required; experience with relevant franchises strongly preferred
  • Must have proven the following competencies : Positive attitude, self-starter, able to work autonomouslyResults-oriented;
  • able to understand & execute plansProven analytical skillsComfortable working in a rapidly changing environment, often managing multiple tasks concurrently under aggressive timelinesExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

    Strong collaboration skillsAbility to engage with KOLsEnglish professional fluency required
