The Divisional Manager - Scaffolding is the overall in charge of the Scaffolding division within Al Futtaim Engineering.
The incumbent will be responsible to deliver high quality support to customers’ business needs in a safe working environment.
Strategic business development with a focus on leading and managing an efficient and profitable Scaffolding Division. Project and process management of all Scaffolding Services including Service & Quality management.
Ensuring effective product development, billing, invoice control, and performance management of key employees. Commitment to nationalization within the business.
Ability to operate on both strategic and operational levels.
Scope & Execution
Act as the custodian of all Organizations project falls under scaffolding unit by ensuring high quality delivery on time within budget and reviewing projects’ high-
level deliverables and milestones for critical decision-making.
The Divisional Manager - Scaffolding will report to the Managing Director, however, channels exists for direct communication with the CEO and other members from the senior leadership team at weekly meetings or as and when required.
To be a successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 15+ years relevant experience in the contracting environment, of which a minimum of 5+ years in a senior leadership / head of business role.
Strong knowledge & track record in strategic business development & transformation, consultancy & operations, contract negotiation & contract drafting, service provider management (SLA / KPI driven contracts), develop and maintain effective relationships with key external stakeholders, budgeting and forecasting.
Proven track record of excellence in blue-chip companies / group of companies. Leading teams and enhancing business presence in high growth region of the Middle East.
Outstanding P&L management track record. Project and process management of all scaffolding services including service & quality management.
The Divisional Manager - Scaffolding will have to demonstrate excellent leadership & entrepreneurial qualities, be customer focused and be able to handle multiple and often conflicting priorities.
It is essential the incumbent should have excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style. Excels at operating in a fast pace, community environment.
Have the ability to look at situations from several points of view. Delegate responsibilities effectively. Excellent problem analytical skills and problem simulation.
Should have a high comfort level working in a diverse environment. Open to direction and collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done.
Manage cross-functional relationships effectively. Strong verbal and writing skills, with regards to contractual communication.
Strong people Manager with a collaborative style (inclusive, engaging, energizing). Excellent managerial & administrative skills however at the same time hands on with day to day business operations.
Detail oriented and good reporting skills. Establish clear lines of communication both internally & externally. Strong commercial expertise in driving business results.
