Applications are invited for the post of Manager, Facilities & Estate Management

Qualifications : Degree / Diploma in Facilities Planning & Management or equivalent.

Experience : Minimum 5 years experience in facilities management, real estate, environmental health and safety (EH&S), and building systems & grounds.

Knowledgeable in building codes and safety regulations.

The Manager, Facilities & Estate Management is responsible for maintenance of the company’s real estate buildings and building-

related equipment, machinery and systems, including supervising environmental health and safety programs and standards and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Assume the duties and responsibilities of the facility where located and will manage and assist in other real estate locations through local on-

site facility staff or service providers. Base in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Skills :

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Responsible for the overall preventive, corrective, routine and emergency maintenance of the company’s buildings and grounds.

Schedules and coordinates maintenance and repair of equipment and systems including HVAC, fire detection and suppression, plumbing, electrical, building security and grounds.

Supervise subcontractors and service providers ensuring that business disruptions are minimized. Assist in contracts and pricing for vendor provided services such as cleaning, grounds maintenance, plowing, security, etc.

2. Responsible for leases and lease agreements for all facilities. Act on lease expirations and coordinates lease extensions with appropriate business management.

Interacts with landlords and sub-tenants to ensure that services delivered by landlord are in line with lease agreement.

3. Responsible for all facilities operating in compliance with all UAE and GCC regulations. Undertake facility management regarding compliance with governmental environmental, health and safety regulations.

Supervise compliance EH&S audits of facilities. Maintain effective EH&S management programs consistent with Corporate Policies and governmental regulations.

Supervise the proper installation, operation and maintenance of facility EH&S systems.
