Job Role : Project Manager Interior Design

Job Description

The Project Manager / Senior Interior Designer position will be responsible for individual internal clients and day to day project management.

The interior designer will lead projects from beginning to end (turnkey)- and will be responsible for delivering project scope and coordinating the necessary project support.

Undertake full project forecasting and financial management and report directly to the Head of Projects-Development.

Ideally this candidate should be a Middle to Senior level candidate who can lead and monitor project team and keep high level of communication with internal clients and understand / anticipates end-user needs.

Responsibilities Oversees multiple interior design projects through management of day to day activities and ensure the completion of projects within budget, on schedule and meeting all program objectives.

Develop methodologies and tools for interior design and enable to quality deliver projects within plan and budget.

Work with Head of Projects-Development to establish high quality Interior Design practices detailing procedures, methodologies and guidelines for ensuring effective estimation, design and implementation.

  • Have a great understanding and knowledge of selecting and specification furnishings and finishes. Creating project documents such as;
  • execution plans, budgets, time frames, programs and monthly overview reports. Serve as primary resource to internal clients on all project related issues and keep effectively communicates with consultants, contractors, sub-consultants and other disciplines.

    Understands the end-user expectations; Consistently provide complete and timely communication of project information to and from stakeholders and project team.

    Develop working templates for establishing Company requirements, conducting site studies, cost estimations, tendering, evaluation and allocation of work to consultant(s) and contractors.

    Develop guidelines for performing risk management for sites to help onsite teams to deliver high quality solutions ensuring regulatory and HSE compliance with standards.

    Implement standardized Interior Design methodologies and procedures to ensure consistent and World-Class healthcare and hospitality standards for all healthcare facilities.

    Lead and coordinate with the project commissioning team to ensure that all projects are properly commissioned to deliver a world class standard of healthcare highest quality to all facilities Assist in development of RFPs / Tenders by as part of the procurement process Coordinate with Project Managers, Construction Managers / Supervision (onsite) to collate and analyze Interior Design standards and drive remedial actions.

    Coordinate with QA and HSE teams to ensure compliance Interior Design activities with all Quality and HSE requirements Other Duties Initiate and prepare space plans and furniture layouts to prepare Collaborate with other design disciplines to enhance overall facilities and patient experience.

    Maintain awareness of industry trends, methodologies, tools and best practices in Interior Design. Adopt and adapt good practices from the industry into to ensure continuous upgrading and innovation to healthcare and engineering capabilities.

    Use online document management software for projects documentation.

    Requirements Bachelor's degree in interior design / architecture or equivalent education. 10+ years of professional experience in working on interior design projects such as workplace / office, hospitality .

  • etc. Working on healthcare projects is an advantage. 3+ years of project management Must be able to work to tight deadlines - flexible in term of multitasking and tight project schedule.
  • Good design sense and solid ID project experience for the entire design process and turnkey projects. Functional skills with AutoCAD, Photoshop and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

    Revit / BIM is a plus Candidates must be fluent in written and spoken English Valid Driving license Skills Adept in Technology Verbal & Written Communication Organization Collaboration Time Management Creative Detail-Oriented Anticipates Needs.

    Experience :
