Supporting the Export Finance MENA team (Dubai / Paris) in all export finance products and services including the origination, structuring and execution of new business.
Close co-ordination with the International Network, especially Export / ECA Desks and PSAM team. Also with SSA / FIG & Corporate Coverage teams as well as RPC, Financial Security and Compliance, Legal and DOD.
Research and reports on market opportunities.
Preparation of presentations and proposals.
Assist in marketing of, and developing relationships with, borrowers, exporters and ECAs.
Help maintain contacts with banks to identify joint opportunities.
Producing call reports of meetings.
Ensuring information is posted in ClientLive.
Updating and monitoring of the EF pipeline.
Calculation of PI and NBI using CACIB tools (Eurecca, PI Box).
Preparation and presentation of Early Birds to ITB Business Committee for new business opportunities, including conflict checks and compliance opinions.
Preparation of credit applications.
Assist in preparation of documentation including NDAs, mandate letters, termsheets, loan agreements, in co-ordination with PSAM team and Legal as required.
Post execution support as required including on conditions precedent, waivers and amendments.
Assistance with CSP and budget forecasting / monitoring processes.
Ensuring that credit applications, waiver requests and amendments are prepared and submitted to the Risk Department as appropriate.
Ensure compliance at all times with compliance, sanctions and AML policies and with all financial control, RPC, audit, legal and regulatory requirements.
Ensure timely advice to Credit Department of any changes in the quality of deals / transactions which have been advised.

Level of minimal experience
1-2 years knowledge of Export Finance products. Ideally, worked within an EF environment previously. Some knowledge of trade finance would be useful

Communication strong ability required, both written and verbal
