Job Role : Business DevelopmentManager

Qualification / Skillsrequired : Experience Minimum 12-15+years

JobPurpose :

  • Establishingand maintaining senior industry relationships (decisionmakers)
  • Meeting and exceeding salesand / or account management targets / goals
  • Successfully entering a new segment orindustry
  • Working independently withminimal day to day oversight or guidance
  • Liaising with governmental and / or regulatorybodies
  • Developing, managing andtracking a well-organized sales process
  • Responsibilities :

  • Conducting research on target prospects (Theywill be supported by sales support in Dubai)
  • Talking to prospects (and clients) by phoneto set up meetings
  • Conducting 1x1 meetings with prospects(clients) using DIFC collateral as well as power pointpresentations
  • Successful candidateto provide input and feedback into all market material and to helpdevelop / shape it when needed
  • Organizing and executing market eventsincluding :
  • Roundtables with clients,prospects or channel partners
  • Dinners / social events to deepen relationshipsand qualify prospects
  • Meeting anddeveloping relationships with channel partners such as law firms,consulting firms, advisory firms
  • Such firms drive business to DIFC
  • Completing post sales meeting notes / summariesand imputing them into Salesforce
  • Preparing for an upcoming roadshow with DIFCleadership (Chairman, CEO, CBDO, others)
  • Liaising with trade associations and industrygroups (innovation, technology, banking, capital markets, assetmanagement, insurance, trade, other)
  • Liaising with inter-Governmental bodies thatpromote trade between INDIA and UAE.
  • Speaking publically at Conferences or atsmaller roundtables organized by theme (eg. Regional bankingconference, regional technology conference, etc)
  • Liaising with relevant regulators in order toidentify firms that may be seeking overseasexpansion.
