MAIN PURPOSE

The Assistant Boutique Manager is assisting the Boutique manager in the total commercial and operational management of a Roger Dubuis boutique.

She is a Roger Dubuis brand ambassador who plays a key role in representing the image of Roger Dubuis. She also has the responsibility of ensuring that all Roger Dubuis customers have an exceptional & unique experience in the Roger Dubuis boutique, by providing customer service to the highest standards.

He / She will share and implement values, vision, strategy, decisions of Maison within the team. Maintain a no compromise approach.

Sales Turnover

  • Achievement of sales turnover in the boutique, whilst respecting the sales objectives and strategies as set by the brand
  • Coach and train the boutique team on the sales techniques
  • Ensure the improvement in terms of total turnover both quantitative and qualitative with the focus on main KPI’s : transformation rate, conversion rate and individually set KPI’s for the boutique team
  • To improve level of service; Mystery shopping results in line with set targets
  • After sales service
  • Brand Ambassador

  • Represent brand name and image both in and out of the boutique
  • Be aware of the competition and compete successfully with the competitors
  • Ensures that customer greetings in the boutique, over the phone, by mail or e-mail are according to brand guidelines
  • Overall responsible for the acquisition of qualitative customer data and the update of the customer database
  • Overall responsible for the appearance and maintenance of the boutique windows, lighting, boutique decorations such as floral displays and mirrors, carpets and flooring, furnishings, displays and counters, stock, catalogues, sales accessories
  • Responsible for developing the customer database, not only of current turnover clients but also local prospects
  • Sales Prospection & CRM

  • Development of customer loyalty by way of excellence in service and treatment and build long term relationship with customers
  • Develop, on collaboration with Marketing, the clients CRM strategy
  • Supervise & propose actions to use the client treatment budget (CRM)
  • Develop local networking activities to discover new potential clientele & do prospecting
  • Identify clients Propects (non-existing clients) and contact them to propose them our collections
  • Together with the boutique manager responsible for external relationships on behalf of the boutique and the brand in his own competitive environment (other boutiques and stores), traditional partners (hotels, restaurants etc.
  • local notables (banks, embassies, media, celebrities, etc.)

    Team Leader

  • Ensures integration and training of new sales staff, including on the job training and coaching
  • High level of motivation of the sales team by ensuring a healthy team spirit and working environment along with work / life balance for the team
  • Appearance and behaviour of all sales staff in the boutique uniform, hair, make-up, accessories, general grooming
  • Setting of individual goals for the staff sales turnover targets, product mix of sales, prices and discounts. Goals are set monthly and annually and monitored in development plans
  • Communication with head office and other departments in absence of the Boutique manager and diffusion of information from the head office to the team
  • Animation and motivation of sales team. Increase individual expectations in terms of professional advancement
  • Organizing daily briefings as well as weekly and monthly team meetings
  • Evaluation of individual training needs and verification of sales team’s competencies
  • Allocation of sales team functions and assurance of each sales associate’s versatility within the team
  • Planning of daily operations and daily briefings
  • To manage planning (shifts, tasks, floor management, vacations, trainings, business trips and overtime)
  • Authorisation of discount requests and other sales gestures (e.g. gifts) within the framework laid forth by the management
  • Arbitration of conflicts
  • Ensuring that budgetary commitments are achieved or exceeded
  • Stock :

  • To maintain weekly / monthly lost sales reports and analysis in collaboration with supply chain department in order to achieve the required stock level
  • To ensure the minimum of shop soiled products due to proper storage and manipulation of products
  • To ensure physical / theoretical accuracy of the stock (rotative and legal stock counts / inventories)
  • To ensure the high level of organisation in terms of maintaining and archiving the documents
  • To ensure high maintenance standards and boutique appearance, including safe area at any time
  • To perform the sale of discontinued products according to the Maison / Richemont policies
  • Banking and Cash Register :

  • To ensure the compliance with procedures, legal, fiscal, and customs regulations
  • To ensure cash register controls (cash float, petty cash, credit notes, deposits, fraud claims reporting) following all Richemont / Maison rules and procedures strictly
  • To ensure no losses
  • Profitability (on the types of expenditure over which he / she can exercise control) :

  • Control of general expenses
  • Gifts to clients
  • Third party commissions
  • Staff Costs
  • Overseeing the F undamental Principle : The Safety of People Comes Before Safety of Goods :

  • To ensure full conformity with Richemont / Maison safety / security rules and procedures
  • To ensure their implementation and strict follow up
  • To perform continuous check-ups
  • Maintenance :

  • Work in coordination with local architect in maintaining the boutique at the highest standards
  • Act proactively in order to preserve Boutique image and appearance
  • Developing Analytical Skills and Formalized Reporting :

  • Monthly formalized qualitative and quantitate reporting with comments and analysis on activity and on the business environment and competition, launches, events, window displays : actions taken versus results achieved
  • Proactivity and drive for results for the upcoming period : measures to be taken, solutions to be found based on the previous analysis

  • JOB PROFILE

    Required experience :

  • Experience in luxury retail industry in the capacity of a supervisor or manager, preferably with a luxury watch and / or jewellery brand
  • Commercial awareness of the luxury market in the UAE
  • Experience in dealing with high profile clients from different cultures and backgrounds
  • Experience of working in target / sales driven environment
  • Experience in working with CRM data and tools
  • Experience in training, coaching and development of Sales Associates from different backgrounds
  • Proficiency in English and Arabic languages (essential)
  • Computer skills : Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
