YOUR ROLE
As part of the Airfreight & Sea+Air coordination center team this role is primarily accountable for providing our customers with a consistent and positive experience when dealing with CEVA.
This individual will act in accordance with strategy, tactical and operational guidance put in place by the Global Sea+Air organization.
The individual will be expected to execute their role in accordance with CEVA customer service and operational excellence guiding principles.
Primary responsibilities include the daily delivery of internal coordination as well as external coordination. Superior customer service, proactive service recovery and constant communication excellence all contributing to the overall customer satisfaction when engaging with CEVA.
Delivering on our service promise; the role is accountable for customer and operational excellence which focuses on enhancing the customer experience through consistent and seamless delivery of great customer service.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO
Validate files profitability with pricing / product / BD
Revalidate rates as and when required
Coordinate Air & ocean routings
Acts as key contact for allocated customers / manages adhoc & on demand engagement
Accepts and processes customer orders (in line with Sea+Air processes)
Stays informed on shipment and exception status for allocated customers shipments
Proactively informs internal & external customer on shipment status and exceptions
Send routings & relevant information to Global Competence center for updates
Handles customer requests about various topics (engages with additional stakeholders where required)
Responsible of reporting and data quality
Ensures compliance with group business strategy and local business environment, adhering to regulations and internal procedures
Manages interface with all Sea+Air coordination center
Supports Sea+Air pricing team where required.
Monitors subcontractor’s / supplier’s performance and suggests improvement steps
Work directly with the global Sea+Air competence center to ensure goals set by the Head of Product is achieved
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Bachelor’s degree in logistics or related areas
Strong People Management Skills
Ability to coordinate, plan and monitor at national level Ocean projects
Strong background in process design and execution
In depth system knowledge
Experience within all transport modes
Experience within Finance and Administration
