Our client is an award winning architectural organisation that has been established for over 40 years. They have expanded thoughtfully over the years and as such have experienced super levels of staff retention, with the office having a super friendly and family feeling.
They now have a global reach and are in a further stage of expansion.
As a result, we are now seeing to recruit an individual to assist the senior management team with a wide range of corporate and commercial activities, including contracting and corporate governance.
The role will be based in the UAE, where the primary focus will be. However, travel will be required on occasion to assist with projects across Europe and Asia.
From a corporate / risk perspective the role will encompass assisting with company formation and liquidations, ensuring entities are compliant with statutory filing and within the various jurisdictions.
Implementation of the companies risk register, assess and mitigation of risk and involvement with share transitions are core functions of this role.
Advanced MS Office skills are vital, as there will be contract and legal support to the senior leadership team in conjunction with external legal counsel, in the form of board resolutions, POA’s, contractual negotiations with clients and 3rd parties, drafting agreements and assisting the proposals team with contractual and commercial issues.
Additionally, there will be significant reporting to senior management. Private support to C-Suite may also be required in the form of assisting with personal legal matters, private wealth structure and compliance and property portfolio management.
English should be to a native standard and candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent business writing ability. Candidates must be able to communicate and present complex information in a variety of formats and structure succinct and informative reports to assist with strategic decision making.
Candidates who have worked in the architecture / engineering sector or construction industry will have an advantage. Candidates should have experience within a paralegal / risk framework and be adept at drafting legal documentation and understanding contract terms.
