equipped fitness center We promise you our enthusiastic team are dedicated entirely to making your time at DUKES exceptional We are looking for a dynamic and passionatenbsp Human Resources ManagerMain Responsibilities To guide and manage the overall provision of Human Resources services policies and programs for the entire hotel to ensure the business requirements are fulfilled and our vision is met In addition to the above listed key aspects of the role the selected candidate will also deliver on the following To work together with all other hotel departments and to ensure that all HR associates fully cooperate with staff from other hotel departments at all times To counsel discipline HR associates if needed to address performance shortfalls ensuring that appropriate records are left in the employee files and that the hotel s disciplinary procedures are followed at all times To be aware of local market competition to monitor trends within the industry and make suggestions how these could be implemented in our hotel To plan and undertake recruitment trips as and when they are necessary To establish and maintain contact with external recruitment sources e g local colleges local international recruitment agencies and to attend job fairs and ensure documentation of outreach efforts in accordance with HR SOPs To oversee monitor candidate identification and selection process ensuring that effective recruitment efforts are being utilized for open positions in appropriate places to attract a diverse candidate pool To oversee the selection non-

selection and offers processes to ensure proper procedures are followed To recruit all HR Associates and to make sure that appropriate induction plans are drawn up prior to new associates starting work in the department To lead all HR Associates by example at all times fostering a spirit of cooperation between different sections ensuring that all sections of the department work hand in hand at all times and to create a challenging and fun environment for all Associates to work in To carry out yearly half-

yearly performance appraisals with key HR Associates Together with the different section-heads and assistants to identify Associates with potential for promotion and or transfer and to draw up appropriate development succession plans To carry out quality control functions in all areas of the department daily to ensure a consistent high quality of all services is maintained To ensure the timely and correct preparation and submission of all HR administration and audit reports To be innovative suggesting new ideas and investigating new ways of doing things or new services for our guests To assist in developing an associate-

oriented company culture that emphasizes quality continuous improvement low turnover high staff loyalty and high performance while meeting statutory legal and internal requirements To control and analyze departmental costs on an ongoing basis and to implement corrective actions if required To be involved in determining salaries benefits for all Associates and in the selection of CAPEX items for the department To ensure that all departmental rosters are drawn up correctly and are based on the current budget and business figures To maintain high confidentiality at all timesRequirements 3-

5 years of experience in Human Resources Department Previous experience as HR manager in a 5 star hotel Genuine personality with good interpersonal skills Must enjoy working within multicultural teams People oriented and results driven Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics Knowledge of HR systems and databases Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills Excellent active listening negotiation and presentation skills Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company In-

depth knowledge of UAE labor law and HR best practices
