Your day to day
At the moment we're looking for an Director of Human Resources to join our energetic, and passionate pre-opening team at Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina.
You'll have ambition, talent and obviously some key skills. Because for this vital role, we're looking for someone who has a solid track record of tackling challenging HR issues, setting up structure, taking care of employee benefits, policies, procedures.
Reporting to the General Manager and as an integral member of the hotel's executive committee, you will be hands on and will have strong HR background ensuring that the human resources team contributes a high level of HR generalist knowledge and expertise for the hotel & hotel team.
This position will be accountable for talent acquisition, succession / workforce planning, performance management and development for property employees, using technology efficiently, and coaching / developing others to help influence and execute business objectives in the most efficient manner.
The role will generally work with considerable independence, developing processes to accomplish objectives in alignment with broader business objectives.
Additionally, will utilize a Human Resource Business Plan aligned with property and brand strategies to deliver HR services that enable business success.
What we need from you
The ideal candidate must be motivated, focused leader with a proven track record in leadership with at least 5 years Hotel Leadership experience.
Someone with a high ability to influence; pre-opening experience, sound business acumen, strong analytical skills and a passion for delivering superior results.
4 years experience in the human resources, management operations, or related professional area. Candidates must have working experience in large five star hotels (minimum 300 bedrooms) and have minimum of 2 years of experience in the Director position.
