The job holder is responsible for conducting site visits, followed by product service training to ensure product performance and customer satisfaction.
The role involves investigating issues, resolving them and conducting technical and safety training to protect the interest of the company.
The job holder is also responsible for carrying out service marketing activities to ensure customer loyalty towards the BOSCH’ service.
Operating Environment :
The job holder will be required to establish user contact and conduct trainings on site as specified by the Line Manager.
In this context, the he is posed with following challenges : 1) Tough physical environment 2) Responsibility for safety which involves training the customer in the Do’s and Don’ts 2) Identifying reasons for premature product damages i.
e. product could be in a working condition but begins to malfunction prematurely.
The job holder must be highly analytical, have detail orientation and keen observation ability. He will be required to investigate products and establish reasons for malfunction.
To prevent risk and imminent danger, he must be able to influence the customer to follow safety procedures stringently.
Key Accountabilities :
Conducts site visits based on assigned target to investigate issues concerning the product, its application or usage. This includes joint visits with the sales team to resolve issues raised by the customer through the team
Carries out service marketing activities and enrolls customer into a service contract with due approval from Line Manager to ensure customer remains loyal to the BOSCH service
Conducts technical and safety training to rectify, change or enhance the methods of product application and usage
Attends training conducted by Principal’s representatives to keep abreast with new technology / products
Attends regular meetings with the Line Manager to discuss issues and receive feedba
High School Certificate / Diploma (12 years of school education)
Mechanical or Electrical Technician Diploma or equivalent from a recognised institute
Experience
Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in technical fault analysis and repair of products within a similar industry, out of which 2 years must be in handling customers
Knowledge & Skills
Sound technical knowledge of white good products, working and application
Valid UAE drivers’ licence is desirable
Ability to think analytically
Planning and organising
Training skills
Written and verbal communication in English (other regionally spoken languages including Arabic would be an added advantage)
