This post reports to; Senior Planner
Technical Records personnel is responsible to administer all the aircraft maintenance records and coordinates all technical and modifications records of Royal Jet aircraft, engines, components and updating documents to the regulatory standards.
Ensuring all permitted limits pertaining to aircraft, engines and components life are not exceeded using Maintenance Tracking System.
Duties and Responsibilities
Update & Monitor Removal / Installation of Aircraft / Engines / APU / Propeller Assembly and components
Updating / preparing complied AD, SB, and EO Monthly Status Reports carried out on Aircrafts / Engines / Propellers
Review and Validate Aircraft time and cycle data / utilization
Update & Monitor Removal / Installation as well as maintenance task performed on Aircraft / Engines / APU and components .
Airworthiness review of all work cards and revert to maintenance any discrepancies
Build-up / Update Engine, APU & Landing Gear Life Limited Parts back-to-birth Traceability
Review and File Aircraft work packages (light and heavy checks, out of phase items, and modifications)
Assist on maintenance due report / forecast along side with Maintenance Planning Section
Prepare / Review Aircraft and Engine redelivery documents for A / C redelivery to Lessor (Summary Status List such as A / C, Propeller and Engine AD / SB / EO, LLP Sheet, LLP Traceability, Hard Time and on condition components status list and release certificates, delivery documents, and redelivery documents)
Prepare / Consolidate / Validate Technical Documents for Audits by QA, GCAA and other audit bodies
Follow all the GCAA requirements in particular to CAR-M and CAR 145
Prepare the Airworthiness Review Certificate (ARC) package for review and Approval
Compiling technical reports and record packages
Formal Education Required : Any Bachelor of Science Diploma or Equivalent.
General Familiarization Course on RJ Fleet
Aircraft technical courses and aviation regulations
CAR 145 training
Minimum of 5 years’ experienced in Technical records / library or planning out of which 2 years’ experience in TRAX system.
Basic Technical knowledge of aircraft maintenance records and publications.
Understanding of aircraft documentation such as basic aircraft / engine / APU manuals.
