Key tasks :
The role involves the following activities and responsibilities :
Day to day running of client accounts including :
Devising client PR plans and calendars
Drafting and distributing press releases and regulatory announcements via RNS
Dealing with media and client queries
Identifying media opportunities and arranging interviews
Editing articles and media comments
Writing presentations and awards entries
Updating client activity documents
Attending and documenting conference calls and monthly meetings
Financial reporting :
Coordinating actions and responsibilities of fellow team members
Coordinating conference calls and press conferences
supervising invitations and chase-ups for analysts and press
Arranging national and trade interviews
Post-results analyst feedback
New business :
Contributing to all new business initiatives including developing relationships with the advisory community and conducting research and writing presentations where required and working with account directors and partners to ensure smooth integration of new business
Working relationships & contacts :
A good working relationship must be developed with the team, clients, national, wire and trade journalists, analysts and suppliers (photographers, printers, events firms etc)
Seeking an experienced account management professional with good experience within the Financial PR sector.
