Ecommerce Director MENA

Develop bespoke tools and solutions to meet existing data demand, working with our global and regional network for ideas exchange
Responsibilities of the role :
Lead e-commerce strategic initiatives, operational improvements and the implementation of digital traffic driving efforts
Develop marketplaces proposals when required, around end-to-end precision activation to store management, helping brands deliver strong performance and growth.
Apply insights and recommendations from proven best practices, while always considering fit and purpose for local consumers and marketplaces.
Review competitive landscape and identify trends, adjusting plans and activities based upon identified information
Work closely with key eCommerce marketplaces, and local eCommerce players to test new formats and innovations
Serve as the leader of all e-commerce activity across our MENA client base, establishing KPIs, building the team vision & actively proposing strategic growth opportunities
Build and grow knowledge and understanding of the e-commerce function within GroupM by cultivating and training talent, participating in new business pitches, and working with client teams to identify areas for organic growth
Define key roles and responsibilities across a dedicated e-commerce team, manage performance, and push for accountability in delivery
Help build and strengthen client relationships while verifying goals and ensuring initiatives are achieved
Lead multiple clients and projects concurrently, while prioritizing the most important opportunities at hand
Create & maintain an e-commerce resource hub; moderate a collaborative forum between the agency and clients
Partner with all required stakeholders (Client Leads, Finance, HR, GroupM agencies etc.) as required, ensuring a lock-step relationship to drive a seamless product
What we are looking for :
Bachelors degree in a Relevant field
7+ years related work experience in a relevant field. Youll require a broad knowledge across Ecommerce consulting.
5+ leadership experience, developing cross functional teams of subject matter experts in their respective fields.
Thorough understanding of Ecommerce channels
Extensive operational capabilities who has led large-scale cross-functional projects & process improvements
Highly skilled relationship builder, with the ability to engage & influence stakeholders of all levels.
Demonstrated Strategic thinker who can develop scalable, measurable solutions to address business challenges.
Advanced communication skills, with experience representing organisations at industry events.
Exceptionally strong experience in partner management, working with key partners to co-develop business opportunities.
Flexibility to work in a cross-functional team but also have the initiative to problem solve independently
