About the Role
As part of the Procurement Team, the Contracts Manager will be responsible for all procurement contracts between GEMS MENASA Group and external vendors.
The Manager will ensure we have adequate coverage and ethical, fair, and compliant contracts.
Key Accountabilities :
To ensure that all contracts are managed, both from a fit for purpose and timely renewal point of view.
Provide support to the Procurement team ensuring all contracts are drafted and completed correctly in conjunction with the Legal team.
Work with the business to retrieve contracts and any historical records to build a comprehensive contracts database.
Actively engage with and secure support from Category and Sourcing Managers to build strong relationships with stakeholders throughout the business.
Ensure that contracts adhere to policy and that the process is followed in regards to signing authority and approval (Delegation of Authority DOA)
Provide advice to stakeholders and the procurement team on the appropriate use of templates within the scope of the knowledge.
Review and prepare contract summary sheets with all relevant information before uploading them to the database.
Create and implement a contracts renewal and end date process which ensures all key members are notified.
Preparing supplier reports in conjunction with the contracts database to help understand the total number of contracts and value vs overall spend.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience :
Undergraduate Degree along with a legal qualification that is similar to LLB.
3 - 5 years of experience working in contracts management at a large organisation.
Knowledge of laws and regulations impacting procurement contracts, FIDEC knowledge is an advantage
Excellent verbal and written command of the English language.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs
