    About the Job :

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for ahighly motivated UAE National Assistant Manager to join the Butlers ServicesOperation team at the Burj Al Arab.

    Themain purpose of role is to ensures that service provided by each member of theteam is according to the designed standard while ensuring the ultimate guestexperience in the hotel, through high level of management & proactiveleadership and coordinating services that directly influence the guestexperience in Rooms Division.

    Your Key duties include :

  • Conducts daily briefing sessions withhis / her team
  • Holds bi-weekly 1-2-1 with his directreports
  • Ensures Colleagues yearly outing takesplace
  • Prepares and controls yearly special eventsactivities for Butlers (i.e. UAE National day, New Year)
  • Analyses LQA audit reports, Revinate,Profile Quality scores, communicates them to the team and develops CorrectiveActions, as needed
  • Act as Fire Marshal during Fire evacuationdrills
  • Maintains a control on the operationalstocks and requests replenishment trough the specified channels as and whenrequired / requested.
  • Coordinates and liaises with all concerneddepartments in order to ensure smooth operations especially for group and VIParrivals / departures.
  • Monitors the Credit Check and Rate variancethat they are actioned, duly signed and filed as required.
  • Ensures that all safety rules, healthregulations, emergency procedures and fire prevention regulations are strictlyenforced by the colleagues.
  • Maintains and protects the privacy andsecurity of in-house guests
  • Evaluates operations in order to identifytraining needs and ensure all the identified training plans are carried out
  • Qualifications

    About You : In order to be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 2 years Managerial experience in Front Office and Butler Service with a strong Team Leading and Guest Relation Management skills, strong F&B background in International Key feeder markets (North / South America & Europe).

    You must be working in a multi-cultural environment in 5 Star Hotel.It is essential that you have good command of the English language (spoken and written) and you should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
