We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior IT professional to join the Emirates Group as Vice President IT Capability.
The person in this role will lead the development of IT capabilities as it pertains to establishing an ecosystem of strategic partnerships, driving a workforce strategy to support the technology needs of the Emirates Group and ensuring an effective IT operations.
The person in this role will lead the execution of cross-functional initiatives that brings cohesion across the different IT verticals.
This role will act as main point of contact to other internal support organisations (HR, Finance, P&L, IA, Legal, CCMB, OR&E) and external suppliers.
Job Outline : - Drive the development of an ecosystem of strategic partners that enables the delivery of innovative, cost effective and high quality business solutions and services.
Develop and lead the IT partner and supplier strategy for Emirates Group managing all aspects of the supplier lifecycle to ensure partners deliver to strategic goals.
Directly manage all external audits conducted on IT for Emirates Group and have direct accountability for maintaining regulatory compliance and quality assurance for Emirates Group with respect to IT to international standards.
Define, execute and manage a 3 year IT organisation development and workforce planning strategy, lead the development and implementation of a IT people engagement strategy, aligned with HR policies and practices and drive the development of IT skills and capabilities through the management of the IT skills academy and the development of the UAE National programme.
Ensure all IT department demands i.e People,cost..etc are met so the vertical pillars can operate, overseeing the functions that govern the areas of technology business management, IT performance, IT space management, commercial and contract management, IT administration services and complex billing.
Leads the interaction with all the Emirates Group support services, continuously looking at improving the engagement with these entities to ensure effective processes are put in place to service IT needs.
Drives on behalf of the DSVP IT cross-functional initiatives that bring cohesion within the IT organisation. Facilitates the interaction across all the IT verticals.
Lead and drive the development and governance of IT's vision, mission, goals and strategies in alignment with the Group's overall strategy while seeking to mature agile ways of working within IT.
Establish career development plans and training for direct reports and provide appropriate mentoring and coaching. Conduct timely annual and interim performance reviews to cultivate a culture of high performance.
Ensure that technical resources are committed to the delivery of the work programme and reviewed, reprioritised as required.
