Job Role : CNC Lathe MachineOperator / Turner
CNC LATHEOPERATOR : Machine operatorset up, operate and monitor lathe or turning machines, shaping orthreading wire, rod or bar stock.
Inthe case of a CNC lathe, the operator may need a programmer tofirst translate machininginstructions into a computer aided / automated manufacturing programwhich will later be enteredinto the machine'
Ability to read and understanddrawings & its constituents, standard notes and standardoperating procedures carry out production, inspection, packagingand machine operation duties.
Set up machinery and ensure all materialsare readily available.
Ability to create and run program tosupport in the prove out.
Skilled in the Fanuc, Siemens, Weilercontols.
Abilityto maintain and follow all the documents created to flow theproduction with no interrupts.
Capable to work individually at machinerieseffectively monitor production equipment.
To change the tooling and perform routinemaintenance.
Ensures that the job meets specificationspost the competition of job.
Assist the shop technicians and materialsclerk as necessary.
Performs appropriate duties assigned bymanagement.
To select the good qualitytooling required for the machines.
To request for periodic maintenance formachines in case of any faults or errorsoccur.
Accountable for Product NCRswhich may occur in the machining process.
Accountable for properly maintainingtooling, instruments, and other machine & equipment underyour control.
Machine operator control theoperation of the machine by monitoring dials and gauges, as wellas listening to the machinewith a keen ear for sounds that indicateproblems.
TheMachine operator troubleshoots to diagnose the problem anddetermine proper corrective actions when problemarise.
TheMachine Operator use dials indicators, calipers, micrometers toperform measurements, aswell as othertools.
2 yearsminimum experiencep referably froman oilfield manufacturing environment (API 6A,16A, 16C, 5CT,7-1)
