Technical Support Manager
Siemens Power Generation Service
You will be technically responsible for the support of the TCP / RCP Products in the Middle East. Will provide techncial support, guidance, training & leadership for Field Service Personnel directly employed in Siemens LLC Dubai, and for Field Service Engineers in other Regional Companies in RME.
Provides very complex technical product support to external customer base and internal Field Service personnel remotely via telephone, e-
mail and documents issues and resolutions accordingly.
Displays a high level of critical thinking in bringing a successful resolution to high impact, complex problems. Independantly applies advanced skills to resolve complex problems not covered by existing practices or procedures
Guides on-site Field Service Personnel to troubleshoot complex technical issues and takes lead responsibility in the resolution of very complex site issues
Develops technical programs and recommendations to increase the reliability and uptime of Customer equipment with the goal of increasing Customer satisfaction.
Reviews site visit reports and STA-RMS to facilitate technical recommendations to external Customers via the Customer Support Manager.
Provides Application Engineering Support to Customer Support Managers to define interpreted parts listings and site programs for Spares, Overhauls, M&U and LTP Product Lines.
Technically supports Customer Support Managers in the introduction of new products / product revisions into the Market (M&U's, SB's, PIB's).
Typically 8-10 years of successful experience in related field
Successful demonstration of key responsibilities and knowledge as presented above
Experience within the Oil and Gas Market"
Experience of collaboration with Product Competence Centres
Experience of collaboration with between intra-organisational contacts and external contacts
Ability to provide guidance, support and training to Field Service personnel. Acts as a role model and mentor
