    JOBPURPOSE

    The Tenant RelationsManager is the primary contact and spokesperson within the Mall forall the tenants and is responsible for ensuring all tenants arealigned and comply with policies and regulations defined in the AlFuttaim Tenant Handbook, Administer Tenant Issue and ComplaintsResolution process.

    Reporting to the MallManager, the Tenant Relations Manager will be responsible formanaging a portfolio of tenants during their tenancy.

    This willinclude developing and managing effective relationships acrosstenants, the mall management team, customers and cross-functionalstaff.

    The Relations Manager willultimately build relationships to ensure the successful delivery ofthe short, medium and long term expectations of the Mallstakeholders whilst implementing strategies to advance ourretailers revenue, profitability, operations andsustainability.

    KEYACCOUNTABILITIES

    Liaison between the Tenants andthe Mall Management Team

  • Assume daily point of contact for retailerrelationship management the for tenant portfolio
  • Developing relationships via all avenues including retailpartnerships, meeting and forums
  • Foster closerrelationship between tenants and the management team
  • Handling handover and takeover of tenants
  • Dissemination of information to the tenants on alloperational matters
  • Ensure all tenants and keystakeholders are aware of the standards, products andservices
  • Attend to needs of tenants inshopping mall
  • Provide consultations totenant’s on their business or operations needs
  • Evaluate and provides advice to tenant’s onmatters such as shop concept, image, merchandise, sellingstrategies and services
  • Work with the widermall management team to resolve issues with tenants as quickly aspossible
  • Track, interpret and resolve tenantissues and responds to trends
  • Design, conduct,evaluate and interpret tenant satisfaction surveys
  • Tenant PerformanceManagement

  • Manage projects to meet key objectives that drive theperformance of tenants
  • Maintain systems forcollating and reporting on retail development andperformance
  • Collection and evaluation oftenant sales data trends, opportunities and risks to identify areasof opportunities for Al Futtaim
  • Monitor andanalyse tenants’ mid to long term performances to ensuretenants’ performance meets Al Futtaim’sobjectives
  • Action all areas of improvementbased on the outcomes of performance metrics
  • Provide report performance metrics to the senior MallManagement team
  • OperationalManagement

  • Generate the Tenant Activity Management Reports andrecommendations
  • Develop and implement the shoplevel tenant visitation schedule
  • Provide inputto the Tenant Handbook
  • Ensure Retail Tenant Adherence toIndustry, Mall and Governmental Regulatory Standards andProcedures

  • Identify and ensure that the standards are communicatedto all tenants and implemented accordingly
  • Regularly review and if necessary, improve uponoperational systems and processes
  • Provideimprovement feedback to senior mall management team
  • Monitor and measure tenant compliance to specifiedstandards to ensure their operation within guidelines of theirsigned lease agreement, regulations and Tenant Handbookobligations
  • Liaison between AFGRE and theRetail Tenants

  • Partner with and assume point of contact between thetenants and the various AFGRE teams including the leasing, mallmanagement, marketing, finance and facilities management, to agreeand deliver business specific projects
  • Communicate specific retail tenant information such asrent commencement dates, legal and physical handover, designcontractual agreements to the relevant AFGRE teams
  • Work with the marketing team to implement and communicatemall and retailer campaigns and initiatives to tenants
  • PERSONSPECIFICATIONS

    Minimum Qualifications andKnowledge :

  • Accredited diploma or degree holder
  • MinimumExperience :

  • Successful track record of building effective tenantrelations within a shopping mall or retail property managementenvironment
  • Minimum 4 years of relevantexperience in a similar position
  • Knowledge oftenancy related issues in shopping malls
  • Knowledge of retail leasing and leasemanagement
  • Strong knowledge and exposure tothe GCC retail market
  • Job-SpecificSkills :

  • Abilityto liaise, influence and interact effectively with diverseaudiences
  • Strong communication, relationshipbuilding and motivational skills
  • Excellentverbal and written English language skills
