Th8 Dubai is a pre-opening 5* hotel, locatedat the Palm Jumeirah Island, inspired by the fashion, glamour andjet-set lifestyle of the cool white sands and art deco scene ofMiami Beach.
The hotel boasts of its direct beach access withuninterrupted views of the Palm, Dubai’s iconic skylineand the Arabian Sea that will provide an ultimate luxury experienceat the Palm Jumeirah.
The project has a total of 162 guest roomsand suites and 3 food beverage outlets with creative &unique concepts. In addition the hotel also features meetingfacilities covering over 200 square meters that can host a range ofevents from small corporate meetings, product launches and teambuilding activities to outdoor receptions and bespoke social eventsbeach and poolside.
Summary ofResponsibilities :
Greets guests and presentsthem with the menu.
Informs guests about thespecial items for the day and menu changes if any.
Suggest food and beverages to the guest and also try toupsell.
Take food and beverage orders fromthe guest on the order taking pads
Obtainingrevenues, issuing receipts, accepting payments, returning thechange.
Performing basic cleaning tasks asneeded or directed by supervisor.
Filling infor absent staff as needed in any of the F&B departmentwithin the hotel.
Punch the order on the POSmachine and make sure to enter the special requirements made by theguest while ordering the food.
Eg : No Garlic, less spicy etc,Without egg etc.
Communicate to the guestand provide assistance with their queries.
Work as a team to get all the job tasks completed in any giventime.
Observes guests and ensure theirsatisfaction with the food and service.
Promptly respond to guest with any additional request.
Taking guest feedback and encouraging guest to sharetheir feedback on our social media platform e.g. Trip advisor,Trust you etc.
Maintaining proper diningexperience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offeringdesserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils,refilling glasses.
Properly open and pourwine at the tableside.
Adhere to groomingand appearance standards consistently.
Understands and can communicate products and services available atthe resort.
Must have some familiarity withbasic cooking knowledge.
Help other areas ofthe restaurant such as answering telephones and completingfinancial transactions.
Print closing reportand drop the cash with the front office / accountsdepartment.
Tally the Credit Cardsettlements for the day with the batch closing report from EDCmachine.
Close the shift on the POSterminal.
