Develops and implements an integrated and more holistic risk framework and governance model linked with internal controls.
Acts as a business partner (value protection & value creation) by providing solution oriented advice.
Supports the management in identifying and managing the tangible (financial, operational, assets, etc.) and intangible (reputation, image, IP, etc.
risks (and opportunities) connected with and / or resulting from the company's business strategy and operations.
Translate risks, learning's and solutions into institutionalized best practices.
Monitors and following up on conducted risk assessments.
Translates risk intelligence as enabler for business opportunities and contribute in the risk description in the strategy plans.
Fosters a culture of transparency, risk awareness and voicing the vision of Risk Management of being a business enabler.
Implements process improvements and the development of required policies and procedures.
Oversees the process and governance activities; develops the next level of dynamic enterprise risk assessment.
Drives the governance and streamlining of all existing risk frameworks.
Coordinates with the business divisions and group functions risk activities with the potential of alignment under one framework.
Leads the development of risk reporting and escalation mechanisms to key internal stakeholders on risk exposures and risk environment.
Enables the organization to understand and manage its risk, enabling strong risk awareness, including day-to-day risks in business execution and internal controls.
Establishes the concept of using advanced technology (i.e. data analytics) for risk management.

Job Type / Category The Risk and Corporate Governance Manager will have overall risk management and corporate governance and corporate governance responsibility (including Risk Assessments, Internal Control and Compliance) for the entire company by developing, executing and supporting Company's Risk Management vision, mission and strategy.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
At least 10 years of business experience in the field of Risk Management and Corporate Governance
Master degree (risk management, business administration, economics or equivalent)
Fluency in Arabic and English languages is required.
Facilitation and challenging skills deployable at various levels in the organization (business partner skills).
Strong analytical skills and ability to work across multiple functions and cultures.
Excellent communication, planning and organizational skills.
People management skills with proven abilities in taking responsibility for executing high quality deliverables according to strict timetables.
Knowledge of the legal and financial system and understanding the language of the legal and finance community.
