Job Role : ACCOUNTANT

Description

Review and verifyindividual tenancy contracts prior to obtain signature : a)Lease,collection, invoicing schedules and VAT treatment.

b)Accounting ofrevenue, collection and receivables. c)Details in EJARI contract.d)Verify documents are in compliance with our requirements.

Verification of collection and accounting of receipts prepared byAssistant Accountant. Verification of break lease tenancy contractsand passing adjustment entries, preparation of refund cheques.

Withdrawal of postdated cheques (PDC), and weekly reconciliation ofoutstanding postdated cheques (PDC) with bank records.

Handlequeries to Property, Legal Departments and related parties. Monthlyprocessing of revenue recognition, invoice generation and itsreconciliation with GL, reconciliation of VAT collected with GL.

Reconciliation of related party accounts with their statements.Verify and issue invoices future billing. Verify and issue customerstatement of account.

Carry out the responsibilities Payableaccountant, Leasing Assistant Accountant and Leasing Accountantduring their absence.

  • Any other ad hoc administrative duty asrequested by the Line Manager or Management staff. Education& Qualifications Bachelors degree / Graduate degree in thefield of Accounting or related field;
  • or equivalent combination ofeducation and work experience. Good computer skills and experienceon MS Office packages and accounting software Experience 3-5 yearsof experience in Finance department in any of the reputedorganizations Knowledge & Skills Knowledge of finance,accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles includinggenerally accepted accounting principles.

    Knowledge of financialand accounting software applications. Knowledge of financialregulations. Ability to analyze financial data and preparefinancial reports, statements and projections.

    Strong customerservice skills and the ability to manage situations promptly andprofessionally, meeting commitments for service and assistance.

    Able to maintain effective communication at all times. Workrequires willingness to work a flexible schedule. Ability to learnnew software applications.

    Contributes to building a positive teamspirit and puts success of team above own interests. Interpersonal& Communication Skills Must be able to read, write andspeak English fluently.

    Ability to communicate and interacteffectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds. Abilityto read analyses and respond to common inquiries.

    Effectivelypresent information and respond to questions from groups ofinternal customers and employees.
