Designation : Sales Engineer

Reporting to : Sales Head

Location : Dubai - UAE

About Company : A company leading in Control & Automation solutions provider in Middle East & Africa.

Eligibility Criteria :

  • Must be a BE / B.Tech (Electrical or Electrical & Electronic)
  • Must experience in sales for 5 Yrs minimum & 8 Yrs maximum in UAE market
  • Must have experience in sales of switch gear( LV, MV, Control Gear etc) products
  • Industry experience should be from Oil & Gas / waste water treatment projects
  • Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Market / Project knowledge in Oil & Gas / Water & Waste Water / Utilities Sectors / Clients must (regularly)
  • Market awareness of ongoing Projects, Customer base (regularly)
  • Generate Enquiries & Develop report with clients through frequent visits( time to time)
  • Knowledge on Pre-Qualification procedures and getting approvals from end users to be done.(Project wise-If needed)
  • Responsibility of getting information from utility for the incoming Tenders and participate in the Tenders(Monthly Basis)
  • Attend meetings with client / contractor / consultant for Technical discussions, Job Negotiations and finalizations(Regularly)
  • Sales Targets to be achieved
  • Follow up of Quotations and job finalizations.(Regularly)
  • Other responsibilities to do regularly or project wise :

  • Manages the offer pipeline and communicates offer vision through a 5-year minimum offer roadmap, maximizing market shares and profitability.
  • Ensures growth and profitability of existing offers that he / she is in charge of.
  • Understands customer values, application requirements, competitive environment, and anticipates on their evolutions.
  • Identifies opportunities to create competitive advantage through innovative product development and technical anticipation, and recommends product development priorities.
  • Analyze RFQ's and recommend quote / no quote., in case - quote- is decided coordinate closely with tendering / Estimation team to proceed with bidding process and handle the RFQ's
  • Check, revise and validate the complete techno-commercial offer in the standard presentation format. Which is prepared by Estimation / Tendering.
  • Participate in Techno-commercial discussions with Customer for finalizing the contract & Respond to customer queries.
  • Manage throughout the order processing phases till end of warranty including receivables collection and claims management.
  • Manage / Support the closing of projects achieving targeted milestone completion, cost, and quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide feedback to relevant departments on points of improvement.

  • Assures DC commitments to customer are met, in accordance with contract, Assures and seeks to improve customer satisfaction and feedback through consistent customer interaction.
  • Identifies and shares lessons learned

  • Works proactively to set customer expectation to assure a smooth project including acceptance of project deliveries and timely payment even under challenging circumstances, encourages openness & respect, and build trust, confidence & loyalty with customers and partners.
  • Reports to be generated (weekly / whenever required)

  • Customer visit reports
  • Attend sales meetings
  • Preparation of sales reports to be presented in management meetings.

  • Salary Package- CTC PM + Medical & Insurance+ Annual Passage
