Job Description Lead & Embrace possibilities An exciting opportunity has arisen for a sales expert to join our team of Rolls-Royce Power Systems / MTU Middle East in Dubai as a Senior Sales Manager Oil & Gas On-Shore Power Solutions.
You will play a significant role in working with a team of sales manager, application engineers and sales support staff responsible for sales of Engines, Diesel & Gas Systems products to partners and OEMs.
You will drive a culture of high performance for yourself and influence others by executing the BU Stationary Oil & Gas sales strategy for regional responsibility and overseeing key account sales and activities within the existing MTU global organization.
Reporting to the Vice President of global oil & gas with a dotted line reporting to the Managing Director of our Middle East office in Dubai.
You will have accountability to deliver sales performance as per the operational planning, support and develop our distributors and direct customers across the region.
You will have regular reporting of oil & gas market development activities, planning, results, and sales trends to the VP of Oil and Gas and Managing Director - MME / Director BD Distribution EMEAR of MTU Middle East.

Key Accountabilities : Develop and implement, together with leadership, sales strategy for regional responsibility within the Oil & Gas Onshore market.
Manage key accounts together with application engineers and sales support staff responsible for sales of systems, Diesel & Gas engine systems.
Manage area specific sales planning, via the Customer Relationship Management tool (CEC) of order income, sales, and turnover within the framework of strategic and operational planning as well as expected annual and monthly forecasts for the specific application.
Support 3rd party distributors in cooperation with the local team in order to further development distribution oil & gas sales with emphasis in growing sales and sales engineering capabilities to expand market access and market share.
negotiate and sign individual supply contracts and frame contracts (direct sales) with OEM’s and end-users within the definition of distribution business.
Systematic identification, analysis, and management of current or potentially important RRPS customers. Work in close partnership with the regional & global application engineering teams to meet local market requirements, develop non-standard offerings and deliver turn-key solutions for Oil & Gas projects and contribute to the development of the application specific global strategy for the specific sub-application within the area of responsibility.
Plan, coordinate and ensure successful execution of seminars / training, conferences, road shows etc. to increase the brand awareness, influence specs to improve market penetration.
Qualification / Experience and Competencies : Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent degree in field appropriate for the function required with a background in Engineering or Business Administration / Marketing field.
Extensive experience and proven-track record in meeting or exceeding targets in sales, account management and new business development of diesel / gas systems in oil and gas industry or equivalent experience with other products in a similarly complex system.
Excellent understanding across the business, its technologies, products, and processes, having a track record in relationship management, can demonstrate strategic thinking, and as a minimum a significant understanding of business development, sales, commercial, and customer services.
Strong stakeholder and project management skills with demonstrated experience in consulting, collaborating with, and influencing across all levels including the senior management both within RRPS and distributors / dealers.
Analytical thinker with an aptitude for problem solving. Strong experience across project management and process improvement and change management initiatives.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Can related to people from a variety of cultural backgrounds and adjust strategy accordingly.
