Essential Responsibilities :

  • Lead and develop a team of global quality managers and professionals for the Digital Solutions P&L.
  • Define the business quality strategy and objectives.
  • Drive an integrated Customer Experience focus across Digital Solutions, leading programs to improve key stages of the customer journey impacting Customer Satisfaction & Customer Loyalty.
  • Drive timely and effective resolution of all customer issues.
  • Lead efforts to identify the root cause of non-conformance and ensure that appropriate and effective corrective and preventive actions are implemented to eliminate the issue and prevent re-occurrence.
  • Promote a quality culture and pass no defect mindset across all sites and functions, implement best practices and lessons learned across the global organization.
  • Provide quality coaching and influence leadership, peers, and employees to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with customer, industry, and regulatory standards.
  • Sustain, simplify and improve an ISO9001 level Quality Management System of policies, standards, SOPs, and best practices.
  • Keep the management staff informed of the status, adequacy, and overall effectiveness of the quality management system.
  • Lead Quality Operations & Management Reviews for the P&L.
  • Execute cost of poor quality reduction measures to drive cost reduction and improve competitive position.
  • Establish the culture to stop the line; lead resolution of work stoppages to support customer on time delivery.
  • Support and approve New Product Introduction programs to flow down quality requirements, feedback lessons learned from previous product experience, and ensure smooth transition to production.
  • Oversee the internal audit program and drive timely closure of findings.
  • Work Experience

    Qualifications / Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 10 years quality or operations experience
  • Minimum 5 years of people leadership experience
  • Willingness and ability to travel when needed (25% travel)
  • Desired Characteristics :

  • Proven capability to work cross-functionally
  • Global or multi-site leadership experience, including managing managers
  • Demonstrated success in growing and coaching high performance teams
  • Strong knowledge of ISO9001 or AS9100
  • Manufacturing related experience in a regulated industry
  • Internal audit experience
  • RCA leadership experience
  • Knowledge of common Quality tools and Continuous Improvement methods, including but not limited to RCA, CAPA, Six Sigma, Lean, 5S, SPC, DOE, and Gauge R&R.
  • Black Belt Certified or equivalent Quality certification
  • Proven track record of delivering successful projects and initiatives
  • Proven leadership skills; ability to effectively influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience leading and implementing change
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Process mindset with strong focus on implementing sustainable improvements
  • In depth knowledge of product fulfillment processes, product development life-cycles, design change and document change control, manufacturing / production process control methodologies.
  • Prior industry experience and familiarity with Measurement & Sensing products and services.
  • Attention to detail, excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem solving skills.
