ChampionX is seeking to hire a Procurement Representative in Dubai, UAE. You will be part of the Compliance Systems & Processes Master Data team which supports Procurement Sourcing functions in their operations / strategic goals which include efficient and effective management of ChampionX’s procedures regarding the (Purchase to Pay) P2P processes in line with Purchasing & Associated Policies as well as our vision to be truly Digital and easy to work with function.

The successful candidate will Lead as an SME for Policy related matters and trainings, provide support, and handle all communications regarding various types of audits, Supplier evaluations as well as support in our digitalization efforts which include but are not Limited to implementation of new systems, software, technologies etc.

Also, to be successful in this role, you will have to be a strong change agent with proven record of interfacing with a varied band of stakeholders (internal and external) to bring about transformational change in the organization.

What You Will Do :

Support the Development and Implementation of the strategic plan for the master data organization which supports broader procurement plans.

Drive strategic plans, analytics for all compliance related business activities involving procurement.

Lead systems integrations / implementations / stage management including testing, review, and training stakeholders including approval of Global SAP access.

Work with other functional areas including Accounts Payable, Procurement Sourcing, business units, production plants and other functions to address issues and solve problems.

Prepares, records, analyzes, and reports procurement transactions and ensures the integrity of records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles.

Leads PP2 review sent from Finance monthly

Leading projects related to improving process and efficiencies around master data and procurement processes

Lead as the SME for all compliance related procurement business policies and processes including internal audits, supplier diversity.

conflict minerals, Responsible Care, Supplier Ethics, Sustainability, and others.

Lead as the SME for all external audits including customer and supplier orders, SOX, ISO audits.

Review Procurement Policy and suggest changes as needed and implement and / or reinforce throughout Global org (country and regions alignment) (drafting, updating, amending, re-implementing, and / or re-enforcing).

  • Provide, develop, and implement training on processes and procedures for new hires and current procurement professionals and other stakeholders that are impacted;
  • identify and train potential facilitators / SMEs to train others on content.

    Manage and drive change for new or updated processes and procedures.

    Govern / owns procurement policy and provides advice / information to stakeholders on ambiguous areas as needed to ensure company stays in compliance when working with internal and external parties.

    Team building, coaching, and leading team to successfully achieve goals.

    Own Procurement CSP Processes, report KPIs and operations.

    Run analytics behind supplier evaluation.

    Has authority to issue purchase orders, purchase agreements and blanket orders within corporate purchasing policy to achieve desired results.

    Minimum Qualification and Requirements :

    Degree in Engineering related discipline, or related business degree

    A minimum of 3 to 5 years of work experience.

    Project management skills.

    Excellent working knowledge experience in SAP or other ERP systems in a Procurement or shared services environment

    Intermediate to working knowledge of financial acumen

    Fully operational in auditing, and compliance experience

    Strong attention to detail, with focus on data quality

    Intermediate ability to create strategy and plans, should be able to analyze types of issues and provide a solution.

    Ability to ensure function is visible by communicating CSP roles, responsibilities, special projects, etc. to all stakeholders

    Good negotiating and influencing skills when working with internal and external customers.

    Stakeholder service focused; ability to partner with internal / external contacts

    Drive and deliver functional and organizational results.

    Excellent organizational and time management skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

    Proven analytical experience with high aptitude for research, analysis, and problem-solving skills.

    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite : Excel, Word, and Outlook

    Strong verbal and written communication skills

    Demonstrated initiative with ability to work both independently and with a team.

    Ability to maintain a positive attitude and adapt to a changing environment.
