About the Team

As the leader of a Professional Services team, this position plays a key role in the success of customer software implementations.

The Practice Manager is responsible for establishing and driving goals for the business unit, building and growing the team, achieving business unit targets, assisting with presales / leading contract activities and driving successful customer implementation across the product portfolio.

What you will be doing

  • Responsible for achieving defined financial targets, forecasting and scheduling for your projects.
  • Responsible for managing overall project, consultant’s performance on your assigned projects, providing and speaking to product specific functionality, mentoring and general treasury knowledge.
  • Conduct and document client scoping sessions, including the creation of a Statement of Work, project plan, and resource work plan.
  • Heavy emphasis on working with the sales and pre-sales teams in coordinating project estimates
  • Coordinate scheduling of consulting resources
  • Ensure work outside the Statement of Work is communicated to the appropriate departments (e.g. Account Management and Development teams).
  • Act as liaison between Client Services, Development, Product Management and Account Management.
  • Time each month needs to be proportionately distributed between key accounts primarily in Dubai.
  • Review and adhere to client's contract including strict adherence to the change management policies outlined in the Statement of Work.
  • Consultative selling be able to demonstrate and sell value of professional services during workshops
  • Manage the client relationship and expectations while developing relationships
  • Develop and maintain a revenue forecast
  • Ensure accuracy of client invoices.
  • Work closely with Client Services (support) to ensure a smooth handover from implementation to support.
  • Manage and mentor the PS team and proactively develop development strategies for the team to over perform and overachieve.
  • Coordinate internal testing and issue resolution
  • What you bring

  • In-depth knowledge of any of the following Industry Treasury solutions - Wall Street, Kyriba, Reval, Visual Risk, Calypso, GTM, Quantum, Integrity
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems or finance or accounting the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
  • MBA (Finance) preferred.

  • Expert knowledge of Value Date Accounting and Month End Accounting practices such as Revaluation, Accrual and Mark to Market
  • Knowledge of scripting via Visual Basic for Applications, Python or Power Shell will be a plus
  • Proficiency in business modeling and requirements definition with tools such as Visio or Rational Rose will be a plus
  • Proficiency in quality management methods, tools and processes such as Test case writing, Issue Log maintenance, Test plans and Test Strategy will be a plus
  • Proficiency in report writing via Crystal reports and including a good knowledge of database query languages SQL and T-SQL.
  • Should be able to create SQL Views, Stored Procedures and Functions on SQL Server.

  • Proficiency in at least one 3rd generation programming language (Java, C++, C#)
  • Excellent customer facing skills that includes the ability to communicate effectively and professionally, summarize meetings and visits, analyze discussions which are conducted with clients and document solutions that may be offered.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.
