SummaryIn this role, you will lead our real estate compliance function while working withbusiness leaders, real estate agents, product managers, engineers, the legal teamRole requirementsDevelop and oversee real estate, mortgage, and title compliance policies,initiatives, and internal audits on a state-by-state level.

Research UAE licensing laws, to helpguide projects and initiatives on a compliant path.Respond to alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies, or procedures, as wellas overall audits, and develop a knowledge base to keep it all organized.

Proactively monitor changes in real estate forms, state licensing law, and legal rules,and provide guidance to affected teams and projects.

QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

The requirements listed below are r epresentative of the knowledge and / or skill required. Education and Experience5+ years experience in a compliance or risk management role.

Experience with people management, including developing and leading a team.Systems oriented. You have a passion to help us work smarter, not harder, and todevelop systems that automate the routine.

When a system doesn’t make sense orisn’t available, you build process to make everyone’s life easier and get the job done.

  • Willingness to take on jobs big and small related to a wide variety of subjects, including : real estate, , title, and escrow;
  • licensing and regulatory compliance; multiple listing services; Experience in some or all of these areas is a significant plus;
  • eagerness to learn a necessity.Ability to remain calm under pressure, handle a rapidly-changing environment,and shift from one task to another.

    An in-depth knowledge of specific rules & regulations connected to Real Estateis critical for this position.If you don’t know an answer, research comes naturally to you.

    Required Knowledge and SkillsYou take charge of situations and do not let go until they are resolved. You have apassion for detail, outstanding organizational skills, and excellent follow-through.

    Outstanding oral and written communication skills. It’s not just about being able to understand complex rules & regulations, but about conveying the implications for Barrows Hotelsbusiness in a persuasive way.

    You have a lightning quick sense of humor, and the willingness and aptitude to tacklea wide range issues with white glove client-service skills.
