  • Motivate, discipline, direct and supervisethe work of all employees in the restaurant
  • Developand maintain training programs to ensure a high degree of staffprofessionalism
  • Manage day-to-day operations of therestaurant
  • Handle complaints and make effectiveservice recovery
  • Ensure standards are being followedin accordance with F&B policies and procedures
  • Ensure all employees have full product knowledge
  • Regularly inspect food & beverage quality
  • Follow established and proper Accounting procedures
  • Hold monthly one-to-one staff meetings to establish and monitortargets and achievements, and update performance logsaccordingly
  • Conduct daily roll plays and ensureemployees adhere to grooming standards
  • Developmaintenance schedules
  • Liaise with stewarding oninventory and breakage control
  • Maintain daily logbook maintaining clear and concise information on theoperations.
  • Establish guest database with preferencerecords of regular guests
  • Schedule employees tomaintain Hotel's service standards within budgeted labourcosts
  • Assign responsibilities to subordinates andconduct regular performance checks
  • Implement weeklycleaning schedules for operating equipment
  • Manageorganization and cleanliness of departmental areas by conductingweekly walk-throughs with Hygiene Manager, Housekeeping andEngineering Department
  • Control stock of all equipmentin the restaurant
  • Constantly monitor staff'sappearance, attitude and degree ofprofessionalism
