Come join us to live well, work better, and be the best.The Service Engineer - Elevators will be responsible for achieving annual turnover with planned gross margin, ensuring 100% customer satisfaction and ensuring the on-time contract renewal, ensure a reduced breakdown ratio or in line with manufacturer standards and achieve casual jobs as budgeted.
CommercialEnsure the AMC contracts are renewed on time with increased rate.Ensure the AMC & casual job payments are collected on time.
ensure the profit and loss rate achieved as per budget.Customer SatisfactionEnsure customers are satisfied during the maintenance and renew the contract on timeEnsure the customer satisfaction survey are done yearly and customer complaints are addressed promptly on time.
Sales and ExecutionIdentify the potential customers and submit the quote for equipment upgradation and convert to casual job orders.
Conduct market study and ascertain the old unit and convert to modernization jobs.Technical ExpertiseMeet and minimize the breakdown ratio as targeted, liaising with manufactures and ensuring the equipment’s are shutdown not more than 24 hours.
Ensure the PPM & repair works are carried as per schedule.Ensure the spares parts available to maintain the equipment as per manufacturer standards.
Ensure the replacement of defective spares are done proactively in line with manufacturer recommendations.Plan effectively for completion of casual jobs.
QualityUnderstand client’s requirement and develop quality plan.Adhere to quality procedures of company QMS, maintain the reports.
Organize third party inspections as per client requirements and ensure no major snags.Knowledge and TrainingGood knowledge in international / local standards.
Train the service team regularly to attend breakdowns in multiple brands.Ensure service teams are trained for new product upgradesUse and continually develop leadership skills.
HSE proceduresAdhere to and ensure compliance with company safety standards and proceduresAchieve company’s HSE objectives.
The Service Engineer - Elevators will report to the Service Manager - Elevators however, channels exists for direct communication with other members from the senior leadership team at weekly meetings or as and when required.
To be a successful in this role, you should have a diploma / bachelor's degree apecialised in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics & Communication Engineering or a equivalent related qualification.
Minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience working in the capacity of a Service Supervisor / Engineer within the elevator industry.
Experience in GCC countries is added advantage.The ideal candidtae should have strong analytical and trouble shooting skills.
Good understanding of commercial / financial terms and revenue realising. Previous experience in creation of enquiries for upgradation / modernisation of elevators / escalators.
Sound knowledge of the international standards of equipment’s. Prior experience in preparation of method statements for repair and casual jobs.
Good knowledge in MS Office. Experience in SAP is added advantage. UAE Driving licence will be an added advantage.The Service Engineer - Elevators will have to demonstrate excellent leadership qualities, be customer focused and be able to handle multiple and often conflicting priorities.
It is essential the incumbent should have excellent interpersonal skills, communication & influencing at all levels to be able to coordinate in a multi-disciplinary environment both internal and external and a collaborative management style.
Excels at operating in a fast pace, community environment. Ability to motivate and provide technical guidance to technicians and sub-contractors.
Ability to sustain positive teamwork environment. Have the ability to look at situations from several points of view. Delegate responsibilities effectively.
Should have a high comfort level working in a diverse environment. Open to direction and collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done.
