The Finance Department has responsibility for planning, directing, and managing the provision of accurate, timely, and objective financial data from which informed management decisions can be made.

This department recommend remedial action when and where necessary. This position safeguards owner assets by creating and maintaining sound internal control systems.

Job responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following :

  • Check & verify all C / L transfers from Front office against Opera Trial Balance. Room Check Outs
  • Check whether all room check outs are backed by a covering Letter / LPO or a Travel agent Voucher.
  • Check all room rates against the current contracts.
  • Transfers to be verified with account code
  • F&B Transfers - Micros C / L
  • Check whether all checks are signed by the guest / backed by a covering Letter / Contract if to be invoice
  • Check all Banquets (Private parties) are been paid against Advance Deposit reconciliation & coordinate with AR supervisor for same
  • Check whether all Discounts are correctly posted.
  • Prepare Invoices with all supporting documents & Covering Letters.
  • Invoices to be filed according to the Company in A / R Files after the daily work
  • Unusual Debit Charges Immediately Inform the Credit Manager / AR Supervisor
  • C / L Rebates
  • Daily Rebates to be processed
  • Staff Invoices
  • Check properly with the individual signatures and filed for month end deductions
  • Deductions to be processed to paymaster on 20th / According to cutoff date
  • Entertainers
  • Check properly with the individual contracts and filed for month end deductions
  • Deductions to be processed & forward to Payroll / Accounts payable as applicable.
  • TA Commission Credit Notes / Set off Credit Notes
  • To move into this position you should have

  • Graduate in accounting or equivalent education required
  • Basic knowledge of accounts receivable operations
  • Knowledge of Opera, Micros and Credit cards
  • Good command of the English language speaking, reading and writing
  • Fit to work 2 shifts (morning, afternoon)
  • Figure Oriented (Addition, Multiplication, etc.)
  • Respect to deadlines
