As the Enterprise Relationship Mapping Engineer, you will be the primary technical point of contact for multiple enterprise customers wanting to take their operations to the next level.
You will work to understand your customers’ business goals and objectives, and translate those goals into clearly defined technical implementation project plans or yearly support models.
To do this, you will apply your full breadth of product knowledge to work with customers in designing network telemetry collection and enrichment scenarios, security policy workflows and integrations.
As the technical expert on the Professional Services team, peers and customers alike will lean on you for strategic technical advice, and you will play a key role in shaping the strategic decisions of enterprise companies undergoing large, digital transformation change and compliance initiatives.
What you will do
Assist the Sales Director(s) in your territory to ensure customers’ needs are met; via QBRs, technical training workshops, etc.
Serve as the technical voice of the customer back to vArmour HQ and Product / Engineering teams
Understand the customer requirements and deliverables and create a comprehensive Statement of Work (SOW)
Present cloud security assessments to Customer
Create and deliver detailed and professional level documentation
Understand System integration with SSO, AD, Proxies, Cloud API’s, VM’s & Firewalls
Create evaluation test plans and implement DLP solutions
Self Project Manage and deliver services on-time
Create training documentation and deliver hands-on training to our Customer
Work closely with customers and their Technical Teams
Document customers’ environment including security tools, network tools, and CMDB currently in place
Proactively identify opportunities to integrate our value

What you will bring
Bachelor's degree (BSCS or equivalent) a plus
5+ years of experience as a Professional Services Consultant with a proven track record and demonstrable skills at presenting technical information at the business executive level or at the architect level
Ability to travel up to 50% within territory and occasionally outside of territory and work remotely as needed
Strong ability to architect / whiteboard complex solutions.
Extensive knowledge of both private and public cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, VMWare vSphere, Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc)
Working knowledge of networking and associated protocols
Demonstrated scripting experience, especially with Python
Professional level knowledge of security architecture / policy best practices
Understanding of enterprise application architecture and security strategies in both traditional and microservices environments.
Public cloud architecture certifications are a plus.
Excellent knowledge (nice to have) network security technologies including but not limited to : Proxies, NG Firewalls, SSL / IPSec, VPN’s, SSO, DLP, CISSP and Encryption gateways
Demonstrable experience with systems installation, configuration and administration UNIX / Linux and Windows-based systems (prior Active Directory / LDAP experience desirable)
MDM, Cloud APIs, Strong Networking concepts
Scripting Language (Perl / Python)
HIPAA, PCI, PII, ITAR, GLBA, SOX, etc.
Data encryption Technologies
SIEM, Load Balancing Technologies
Network Architecture Experience
