We are seeking for a highly disciplined and experienced Senior Business Analyst to work on our projects in Dubai, UAE
Role Overview :
The Senior Business Analyst is key member of the BC&I team, working with the senior stakeholders, both finance and non-
finance, to drive business performance. The Senior Business Analyst role will act as a lynch-pin between Finance, Client Development and the business, forging strong relationships and acting as a true business partner.
The role requires an individual with a strong appetite for learning and growth and someone proactive and commercially driven.
The ideal candidate will have the capability to act as a team leader for this function.
Responsibilities : Team leadership
Working in a partnership with the fellow Senior Business Analyst to lead the BC&I team. This person will lead the function in areas such as project management, stakeholder management, planning and team management.
In consultation with the Senior Business Analyst, manage the tasks of the team including four people in the Manila Shared Service Centre.
Leading by personal example, build and maintain effective relationships within Arcadis
Leading, with GM Finance, in the preparation executive board reports
Leading the financial processes for the annual Business Plan, quarterly forecasts and monthly / quarterly close.
Leading the Financial Planning Team (FPT) to set the high level timetable for the regional finance deliverables (month end, quarter end, estimates, outlooks)
Will be aligned with one Business Unit as their Business Analyst and point of contact. Should support the BU Financial Controller and provide deep insight and coordinate all cross functional activities.
Ensure that the BC&I function provides oversight and consistency in operational finance tasks and reporting.
Drive business performance improvement by challenging the management team through detailed financial analysis and recommendations in areas such as margin and profitability by BU, customer and service line, pricing, cost control, best practice and efficiency improvement plans and working capital management.
Provide support in design & implementation of commercial improvement strategies
Business Information / Intelligence
Working closely with the team to produce high quality and insightful Business Intelligence. Interpretation of complex financial data for non-finance stakeholders.
Review, but also preparation, of the reporting suite such as the P&L, backlog, pipeline, project reports and utilisation.
In partnership with Senior Business Analyst, embrace the responsibility of a Business Intelligence champion of the region.
Will be a point of contact, within and outside, the region regarding all matters associated with the BI platform. Should be able to provide training and strategic input for provision of BI.
Drive enhancements to the existing finance systems and reporting and take a lead role in self service capability of Oracle Cloud Analytics.
Ensure financial data integrity and compliance with Group governance and reporting requirements.

Experience, Qualifications & Person Specifications :
Professional finance qualifications (recommended)
Experience with Oracle / Cloud Analytics / PowerBI would be highly beneficial
