Oversee the daily accounting activities required to maintain the company's general ledger in all aspects.
Maintain organized set of detailed records and files to document financial transactions and all journal entries.
Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information
Ensure all balances are properly supported and documented
Verify, allocate, post and reconcile transactions
Preparation of ad-hoc analysis and special projects as requested
Reviewing and approving journal entries
Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts
Responsible for month end closing, GL, AP, AR, internal / external financial reports
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in accounting / finance or related field
Proficient in Advanced Excel Functions
Minimum : 5 Years accounting experience
Must : Experience in a commodity trading environment
Must : Already be located in the UAE.
Excellent written and oral communication skills with a demonstrated ability to negotiate, facilitate, liaise, consult and present effectively with all levels of staff and management.
Confident, with strong work ethic and a professional outlook.
High attention to detail with an ability to plan and prioritize multiple tasks to achieve outcomes within specified time constraints while promoting strong, continuous improvement and customer-focused culture.
