The Position In line with our strategic priorities to continue to unleash the global power of our iconic brands and to empower top talent to fuel our long term organizational capabilities, we are now seeking a Regional Trainer to overlook our franchise hotels in MEEA.

This individual will act as a Learning & Development consultant for the WHG Franchise community in MEEA (Middle East, Eurasia and Africa) and trainer of the associates at the corporate office in Gurgaon and Dubai.

The Learning and Development department EMEA offers the franchise community a training catalogue of standard training solutions as part of the Franchise fee.

In addition, the Regional Trainers will sell bespoke training solutions and programmers as per identified needs at an additional fee.

The role therefore encompassed 50% training programme facilitation and 50% sales / business development. The role holder will be required to travel approximately 60% of the time to deliver and / or sell training programs throughout the MEEA region as per the identified training needs.

They will have the task of ensuring that franchisees and their teams have the necessary tools, and the know-how to use them, required to work within our brand standards and systems with the goal of maximizing revenue, brand engagement, quality assurance and guest satisfaction.

The Regional Trainer MEEA will report into the Director of Talent EMEA and support the Learning & Development department EMEA to plan the annual EMEA Training Calendar, adaptation of courses, identifying learning and operational needs analysis, course delivery and the continuous evaluation and improvement of the training delivered.

The key stakeholders will be the General Managers of the Franchise Hotels (external) and the Director of Franchise Operations EurAsia and MEA (Internal).

  • Impact & Influence Experience and qualifications
  • Professional qualification in an adult learning or training discipline or working towards i.e. ITOL or CTP
  • Hotel working experience in both Learning and Development and Operations
  • Preferred but not essential experience working as a training consultant or in Training Sales
  • Deep understanding of the training cycle and learning environment
  • Fluency in both verbal and written English is essential, Arabic is preferred.
  • Experienced in working with Learning Management Systems both from a content management and curriculum design and manage perspective
  • IT literacy is essential
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft office programmes including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
