Job Role : Video Editor
Working to Creative Producers to produce contentfor a wide range of clients across a multitude ofplatforms.
Working within the Studioteam with Producers and Project Managers to deliver for a widerange of clients across a multitude ofplatforms
Reasoning is that for themost part they will have to deal with internal teams who may nothave the base knowledge of film and video.
Additionally for themost part will be working with project managers in the teamalso.
Understanding each individualclient's brand guidelines and tone of voice. Helping toensure the video team is constantly evolving, keeping at theforefront of digital creative innovation.
Communicate with other departments to ensure content isdynamic and collaborating in the effort to consistently create newideas to offer clients.
Excellentorganisational skills with the ability to work to post-productionschedules, managing multiple projects.
Experience in data management. manage and update footageand assets - should have clear knowledge of technical supportneeded in an edit suite.
Knowledge, Skills andExperience
The idealcandidate : Is an experienced video editor with excellent skills insoftware such as Premiere Pro.
Has extensiveknowledge of video formats and codecs.
Musthave a strong knowledge of the video, audio, graphic &post-production process.
Must understandoptimisation for all broadcast channels and social platforms. Isable to execute an online edit as well as offline.
Has a basic level of knowledge for sound design andcolour grading.
Thinks creatively and iscomfortable working to brand guidelines and tightdeadlines.
Must be able to workindependently.Has outstanding communication skills to maintaineffective working relations with a wide range of internal andexternal contacts.
Knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop andIllustrator. Knowledge of editing 360 footage.
Fluency in Arabic not essential butpreferred.
