Job Description & Summary

The Financial Services Consulting team provides a full range ofconsulting services to our Banking, Insurance & FinancialServices clients.

PwC's Insurance consulting practiceprovides services in business transformation areas including :

  • Customer experience
  • Topdown business strategy
  • Operationaltransformation, process reengineering, automation
  • Market assessment and opportunity identification
  • Digital & Technology
  • Cost rationalization
  • Productivityagenda, and other related topics
  • The Insuranceindustry is undergoing fundamental transformation as it comes upagainst the impact of new regulation, new technology, acceleratingshifts in consumer demand and mounting competition from InsurTechplayers.

    As a Senior Associate, you will work as a project teammember to deploy innovative end-to-end solutions for our clients ontransformation projects, across the above-mentioned areas :

  • Support sales pitches to clients and ensure growthof the insurance platform in terms of revenue terms.
  • Deliver assignments including day-to-day follow up onproject teams and ensuring targets are met.
  • Build and enhance insurance team capabilities by always being up todate with trends in the market and understanding the impact on ourclients so that you can help shape their thinking and our successin the
  • market.

  • Developpropositions and impart this knowledge to members within theteam.
  • Work with colleagues in all MiddleEastern offices on client work and internal initiatives as well aswith international teams where appropriate.
  • Keep up to date with current trends from the region and from acrossthe world. Demonstrate teamwork and responsibility with theengagement team members;
  • stay abreast of current business andeconomic developments relevant to the client’s business;and use current technology and tools to enhance the effectivenessof services provided.

    Requirements :

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Finance,Business, and Economics, Quantitative Analysis or other relatedmajor required.
  • CA / CFA / MBA orequivalent.
  • Years of Experience 5+ years ofexperience in the insurance industry managementconsulting experience with insurance sector focus will bepreferred
  • Middle East insurance experienceis preferred
  • Language Skills : ExcellentEnglish communication skills (verbal and written), particularlyability to articulate concepts and recommendations in written form(PowerPoint reports, charts etc.
  • Bilinguals with Arabic languageare preferred.

  • Good understanding ofinsurance solutions (products) life cycle
  • Exposure to digital transformation project(s)
  • Excellent organizational skills, having the ability toprioritize workload whilst being resilient and being able to copewell under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Proven IT skills in Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
  • The ability and willingness to travel within theMiddle East and worldwide where the project dictates.
  • Strong capability to manage delivery.
  • In depth financial sector acumen and the underlyingmarket forces affecting the performance of organizations and theirstrategic objectives.
  • Demonstrated trackrecord in development and implementation of practical solutions tocomplex strategic
  • challenges.

  • Proven strong conceptualized thinking and analyticalcapabilities.
  • Strong portfolio / program / project management skills.
