Position Overview
A Wellness Host is entrusted with delivering an exceptional and memorable service within the wellness, pool and beach facilities.
This role is responsible for our Residents’ welfare whilst delivering a consistently seamless luxurious experience at all the touchpoints.
You need to maintaining the cleanliness of the Beach, Pool and Wellness Area. Though skillfully trained, they never lose sight of their ultimate reasonability, to create lifelong memories for our Residents and their families of One at Palm Jumeirah
Assisting with beverage delivery, open / closing and preparing the pool area for residents and their families inclusive of the set-up and breakdown of sun loungers and maintaining all areas to ensure our Residents and their families receive a seamless and consistently luxurious experience
To provide all Residents, their family and guests with a positive first impression of One at Palm Jumeirah and act as an ambassador for the Dorchester Collection
To act as a team player and provide effective day to day communication with Residents, their family and guests as well as with your colleagues
To develop and maintain positive and productive service focused working relationships with Residents, their families and their guests as well as external potential perspective owners.
To represent Omniyat and Dorchester Collection and become a point of contact within the department
Ensure the Residents’ satisfaction by performing such duties as attending to their requests and inquiries courteously and efficiently, and accepting changes or additions in work hours, which are necessary for the maintenance of uninterrupted service through One at Palm Jumeirah at all times
Essential Functions & Physical Requirements
Previous experience in a similar 5* residence or hotel is desired
Team-players who take direction well and show initiative are best suited for this kind of work
The Wellness Host must maintain a presentable appearance and must adhere to the grooming policies of Dorchester Collection
Excellent communication skills verbal and written
Polite, empathetic and professionally confident
Ability to multitask and time-management
Qualifications and Desirables
Ideally 1 year’s experience in a similar role or within a service role within the luxury sector
High command of spoken and written English
Minimum High School education
Additional languages advantageous
