Job Role : Security Compliance &Training Manager

JOB PURPOSE

The Security Compliance & Training Manager isresponsible for developing and delivering strategies and plans toenhance the general level of security awareness of Spark Securitypersonnel and to train employees in more depth on certain securityaspects

Provides coaching, direction andguidance in all matters involving safety, compliance, physicalsecurity & loss prevention to locations where Sparkoperates Recommends actions to Spark management and operations tosecure and enhance the company standard in all forms of securityand follows up on them

As a trainingmanager, responsibilities include enhancing employees skills,performance, productivity and quality of work You will identifytraining and developmental needs and drive suitable traininginitiatives that build appropriateness to the security program ofclient facility and the SLA as well

Continually audit existing protocols, processes, and trainingprograms to ensure operational efficiency, alignment, and theimplementation of best practices This role will coordinate andorsupport cross-functional programs and projects related to securityoperations, security-related training programs, risk assessment,emergency response and crisis management

KeyResponsibilities and Duties% Time Spent

  • Development of a comprehensive training program centredon training Security Personnel at Spark SecurityServices
  • Develops, plans, organizes, anddirects the activities of on-site security personnel and ensurestheir actions comply with legal and regulatory requirements, andmeets corporate and customer needs
  • Trains anddevelops security teams with core competencies necessary to managerisk, stay ahead of security threats, and positions the team toeffectively respond to incidents Design a learning framework andmonitor learning outcomes
  • Identify and assessfuture and current training needs through job analysis, careerpaths, competency performance appraisals and consultation withclient branch managers
  • Draw an overall orsite-based training and development plan that addresses needs andexpectations in terms of service deliverables stipulated in thecontract agreement
  • Deploy a wide variety oftraining methods
  • Conduct effective inductionand orientation sessions
  • Monitor and evaluatetraining programs effectiveness of Training Instructors Mobile Sitesupervisors
  • Resolve any specific problemsarise in the sites and tailor training programs asnecessary
  • Maintain a keen understanding oftraining trends, developments and best practices
  • Conduct periodic mystery shopper exercise and update theDO with findings
  • Perform penetration test atvarious sites and evaluate the response of security personnel andtailor training program to mitigate deficiencies
  • Develops and implements policies, procedures, standards,training, and methods for identifying and protecting intellectualproperty assets, personnel, property, facilities, operations, ormaterial from unauthorized disclosure, misuse, theft, assault,vandalism, tampering, sabotage, or loss
  • Coordinates and analyzes the result of the incidentreporting system
  • Analyzes data to detectdeficiencies and implement measures if needed and follows up on theimplementation
  • Work with the BranchOperationManagers and customer representatives to understand customerexpectations and recommend measures to enhance programperformance
  • Assess curriculum training modulesto ensure its meeting intended objectives and requirements, provideanalysis, advice andor implementation assistance on trainingstrategies
  • Evaluate instructional materialsand trainings to ensure intended objectives and requirements aremet and continually updating training materials to incorporateevaluation recommendations
  • Lead the audits tobe conducted by our ISO certification bodies and coordinate withthe ISO representative
  • Regular reporting ofTraining activities
  • Education

  • Bachelors degreeor equivalent practical experience
  • Experience

  • Min10 years of experience in corporate security, law enforcement ormilitary operations
  • International experiencein corporate security, law enforcement operations and relatedsecurity technologies and special applications
