Our client an international furniture manufacturing company are seeking a Business Development Manager for Middle East Africa Requires 3 years sales experience ideally from a MNC background Must be fluent in English -

Arabic is an advantage Responsibilities Promote the companys products and services Work with the dealers and DMMs to obtain orders on behalf of the company Generate new leads for the brand and dealers by identifing qualifying and developing business opportunities in person To help win business against a sales and margin target for the products within the identified sectors Develop implement and monitor a business plan for the region Writing a strategy around key markets and allocating time resource accordingly Timetable and gain support in seminar activity and brand events in key markets Provide accurate forecasting information for total volume sales by product group and detailed information on specific large projects Maintain good working relationships with local dealer personnel maintaining competence and commitment to products Involve specialist sales resources where relevant against specific opportunities Gain detailed knowledge of product portfolio and be able to provide creative solutions for clients designers and dealers Able to provide in field training for dealers and colleagues as required To identify appropriate new dealers and develop these opportunitiesRequirementsBusiness Degree or equivalent Knowledgeable in forecasting and planning Good communicator both verbally and in written form Well organised with good time management skills Must enjoy team work but also be self motivated and able to work alone and be self sufficient Good networking skills Must be flexible to work long hours when required and undertake travel throughout the region Must be highly literate in the use of IT systems Must be numerate in the preparation of quotations and forecast information Must be culturally aware and have travelled extensively Strong presentation skills Quick learner Able to show initiative and creativityProfile Summary : KeySkills : Profile Summary : KeySkills : Company Profile : Robert Walters is one of the world s largest specialist professional recruitment consultancies with 53 offices spanning 24 countries We ve helped thousands of professionals find permanent contract and interim roles with leading global corporations small to medium sized companies and innovative start ups Our specialist recruitment focus includes accountancy and finance banking engineering operations legal IT sales marketing procurement logistics HR and support administration
