  • The Logistics Coordinator is inprinciple responsible to coordinate and supervise alladministrative activities in the logistics office on a dailybasis.
  • Under the direction of the DeputyManager, the Logistics Coordinator is responsible for supervisingthe reception and loadings and completes correctly alldocumentation process for inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Keyresponsibilities include :

  • To ensure accurateand prompt communication with both contract logistics staff andcustomers, liaising with transport companies and managing relevantdocumentation.
  • To understand the customer bybeing aware of the different requirements, needs and services foreach one.
  • YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIESLocal Inbound document checking and validation. Manage and OrganizeAir & Sea Freight Import activities and status.
  • Monitor,communicate and manage supplier pre-alerts &documentation.

  • Manage the Customs Clearanceprocess including FIRS, Bill of Entry & any necessarycustoms clearance documentation.
  • Manage FIRSand Dubai Municipality Food Inspections. Report any discrepanciesto Deputy Manager and customer.
  • File paperworkaccordingly for QMS and audit purposes.
  • Trackand monitor inbound shipments, verify packing lists and invoicesand other documentation involving materials received from suppliersfor delivery to client.
  • Update databases andother reporting tools to maintain visibility of shipment status.Extraction of the preparation orders and prioritization of thepreparation sequence
  • Validate outbounddeliveries and issue documents for the trucks. Packing ManagementIn and Out (pallet balance by supplier and stores).
  • To follow up requests and / or problems that customers mayexperience. To keep ongoing records for key account customershipment status.
  • To be able to resolvecomplaints and disputes with relevant customers.
  • To be pro-active in resolving issues and problems beforethey occur
  • To establish and document clearguidelines on the level of service that each customerrequires.
  • To ensure that relevant customersare kept satisfied.
  • Resolve customs clearanceissues in a timely manner in coordination with thecustomer.
  • Extract and issue specific reportsrelated to the Logistics Activities.
  • To ensurethat the customer service complaint system is in place, followedand provides for accountability of errors. Adhere to Kuehne +Nagel'
