Essential Job Functions

  • Lead the day-to-day execution side of any M&A process
  • Liaise with external vendors (e.g., Investment Banks) to complete acquisitions, if needed
  • Oversees the financial research and analyses to inform critical M&A decision making
  • Drive both the development and enhancement of M&A methodologies and approaches within the TASC business while incorporating industry best practices into TASC operations
  • Play a strategic role in maintaining in-depth understanding of the business’ investments and endeavors
  • Oversee and mentor the Finance Analyst to ensure the constant improvement of their talents and skills
  • Collaborate with senior management and legal departments to define company strategic direction, culture, and decision making
  • Perform all relevant tasks as assigned by the EVP, Finance and M&A
  • Key Abilities

  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to direct a team by setting goals and priorities that result in the achievement of operational and strategic deliverables
  • Expert-level knowledge of telecommunications industry processes and operations
  • Excellent presentation skills when conveying reports, reviews, and recommendations to senior management for final decision making
  • Strong collaborative skills to both ensure and facilitate smooth M&A negotiation thereby improving the chance of successful deal closure and seamless integration
  • Highly numerate individual
  • Exceptionally strong analytical and financial skills to efficiently process raw information and data into actionable insights
  • Great interpersonal skills and the ability to form meaningful relationships with stakeholders and to influence top business leadership.
  • Excellent financial modelling skills
  • Professional Experience

  • Minimum of five (5) years of M&A experience, preferably from tier 1 private equity funds or investment banks
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in wireless telecommunication M&A
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in the Middle East market
  • Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • MBA or other master’s degree preferred
  • Other Requirements

  • Fluency (both oral and written) in English; fluency in Arabic a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
