What will I be doing? As a Weddings &Social Events Manager, you will maximise revenue opportunities inthe areas of weddings, social events and group reservations bydriving sales leads and increasing conversions.

The Weddings& Social Events Manager will interact frequently withguests with the intention of earning repeat and expanded business.

Specifically, a Wedding & Social Events Manager willperform the following tasks to the highest standards :

  • Responsible for planning and managing all Wedding and Social events
  • Receive and convert incoming enquiries to achievetargets and maximize revenue
  • Seek opportunities toincrease sales and conversions within the Team
  • Manage anevents schedule to maximise yield
  • Focus on aconsistently executed up-selling approach
  • Be aware oftrends and propose ideas to build the range and quality of Catering& Events, consistently wowing our guests with creative andinnovative ideas
  • Build strong relationships withcustomers and to fully understand their needs
  • Arrangeand carry out Hotel show rounds
  • Ensure the completeadministration and execution of all planned events to fullsatisfaction of client
  • Maintain exceptional levels ofguest service
  • Ensure compliance of brand standards
  • Evaluate guest satisfaction levels with a focus oncontinuous improvement
  • Participate in hotel promotionalactivities What are we looking for? A Weddings & SocialEvents Manager serving Waldorf Astoria Hotels and Resorts arealways working on behalf of our guests and working with other TeamMembers.
  • To successfully fill this role, you should maintain theattitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow :

  • Strong knowledge of the hospitality industry in Dubai
  • Previous experience in Wedding, Conference & Events withexperience in the sales sector of the luxury market
  • Goodorganizational and administration skills
  • Positiveattitude and good communication skills
  • Commitment todelivering a high level of customer service
  • Confidenttelephone manner
  • High level of IT skills
  • Excellent grooming standards It would be advantageous in thisposition for you to demonstrate the following capabilities anddistinctions :
  • Luxury hospitality experience in a similarrole
  • Knowledge of the hotel property management systems
  • Qualification, degree, or certification in a relevantfield
