Job Role : Logistics Coordinator

Key Responsibilities :

  • Executingcomplete sales order processing cycle.
  • Ensure Sales Orders are entered promptly and correctly in thesystem.
  • Maintain a high degree of accuracyand speed.
  • Preparation of quotations andother documents relating to the sales cycle.
  • Analysis of sales and preparation of proposal.
  • Maintains updated Customer and Price database at alltimes and answers stock and price queries from the customers andorder - related matters.
  • Performs ordermanagement duties on an accurate and timely basis from order entryup to on time delivery and includes issue of Order Confirmation,raise internal order amendment forms for order amendment anddisseminate information to respective department for action.
  • Coordinates with Purchase team, Sales team andProduct Development team to ensure delivery commitment is fulfilledas per the requirement.
  • Facilitate theshipping of products from one destination to another, Streamlinesshipping and transportation processes, Prepares loads forshipment.
  • Coordinates with Warehouse teamfor specific packing requirement, special marking, Inspections andbooking of shipments.
  • Facilitates customercomplaints to the respective department and follows up withcorrective actions.
  • Develops and enhancesthe customer relations ensuring regular verbal communication withDistributors / Dealers to book shipments and to allocate and invoicegoods in accordance with the agreed schedules.
  • Keeps and maintains an accurate order book with shippingdates that match customer needs with product availability andensures that products will be available on the promised shippingdates.
  • Also communicates any alterations to pre-arrangeddeliveries.

    Required Qualifications, Skills andexperience :

  • Knowledge of complete Orderprocessing cycle.
  • Knowledge of Shipping / Logistics Services Providers.
  • Ability tocommunicate clearly internally and externally.
  • Good Interpersonal skills at all levels.
  • Proficient in Computer Skills- MS Office, especially MSExcel, data compilation / collation.
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
  • 2 -3years experience in Sales Order Processing.
  • Export, Shipping experience in similarIndustry.
