About the Job
The jobholder is responsible for all financing & investment aspects of Borouge mega project -Borouge4. He / she takes the lead to control and monitor the capital expenditures and make sure accurate and timely reports are created and communicated.
Leads B4 project economic modelling and ensure its accuracy of both input and output. Supports B4 project teams in all financial issues.
Perform detail and value-add analyses, prepare management presentations and serve as strategic advisor to B4 various stakeholders.
He / she is playing an active role in supporting B4 financing initiative.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Ensure timely update, accurate output, and adequate management approval of B4 economic mode.
Supports B4 project stakeholders in all financial issues e.g. budgeting, financial modelling and cash flow forecasting.
Leads annual business planning cycle coordinating among B4 project stakeholders
Perform timely and detailed monthly analysis of actuals vs budget, tracks B4 AUC account, and communicate findings to line manager and B4 project management
Manages and conduct monthly Capex Controllers Forum
Ensures approved budget figures are not exceeded, unless properly justified.
Responsible for monthly upload of actuals into BPC
Tracks and reports project status for assigned functions
Consolidate operational and financial status for respective projects
Creates management presentations (ex. ISC / TCM) for B4 project and / or other projects as assigned by line manager
Create and distribute monthly AUC report and drive timely capitalizations.
Develops and updates functional procedure manuals by conducting work value analyses and studies so as to optimize methods and procedures.
Provide support on financial matters related to other functions / projects as required by line manager.
Leas Post Investment Reviews (PIR) for B4 and / or other projects as assigned by line manager
Other reoccurring deliverables are documented in Financing & Investment team monthly calendar that is reviewed regularly during F&I weekly team meetings.
Other ad-hoc tasks can be assigned by line manager
Post graduate degree in Finance or relevant accounting / financial disciplines.
Through understanding of financial modules in SAP.
Sound knowledge in financial planning or strategic performance management.
Excellent economic modelling
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
As a successful candidate, you should possess the following :
7 -10 years of relevant experience in finance with focus on in-depth analyses, financial & project reporting, and economic modelling
Experience from oil & gas or petrochemical industry is preferred.
